Recently, D’Arcy and Melanie, who play the roles of Greta Gill and Jo De Luca respectively, spoke about the friendship they forged on the set, and off-camera. “Jo and Greta’s friendship, which is so deep and almost like family, is a hard thing for two actors, who have never met each other, to fake,” said D’Arcy. “But Melanie and I lucked out with this instant bond and sort of undeniable chemistry that we found in the audition room. I think it was very, very easy to form friendships. It was never forced chemistry. It was so natural. Our characters have created this set of rules and they have really lived life, been all over the world, with so many adventures. They have had highs and lows, success, and failure, and eventually learned what works for them. So, this is like you don’t deviate from these rules which we have created for ourselves.”
