About &TV’s Happu Ki Ultan Paltan upcoming track, Katori Amma aka Himani Shivpuri shares, “Rajesh (Geetanjali Mishra) is upset with Happu (Yogesh Tripathi) and lures him seductively only to give him an earful! Hurt by their fight, Beni (Vishwanath Chatterjee) distances himself and starts watching a film that unexpectedly changes his behaviour. Meanwhile, Katori Amma (Himani Shivpuri) wants to watch the same film but fails to get tickets. Happu tries and fails too, while Manohar (Nitin Jadhav) easily gets tickets for his wife and mother-in-law, leaving Happu embarrassed. Adding to his woes, a local cyclist keeps pestering him, and Happu can’t muster the courage to fight back. Things get worse when Manohar poisons the Commissioner’s mind, and Happu is made to do the “murga” punishment at the station! Just then, the schoolmaster visits to complain about the kids’ mischief, and Happu somehow pacifies him. Later, he vents to Beni, who shows him the same movie. The film impacts Happu deeply. Happu suddenly transforms! He scolds Rajesh, shuts Amma down, turns the tables on Manohar, drags Hrithik (Aaryan Prajapati) to the station for third-degree interrogation, and beats up the cyclist badly. Everyone is shocked by his new aggressive avatar. The family tiptoes around in fear. Rajesh and Awadhesh (Urmila Sharma) corner Beni, who confesses everything. They beg Happu to return to normal, but he refuses.”

About Bhabiji Ghar Par Hai’s upcoming track Angoori Bhabi aka Shubhangi Atre shares, “Vibhuti (Aasif Sheikh) does everything Anita (Vidisha Srivastava) asks, but when he forgets one task, Anita scolds him harshly. Hurt, he sarcastically says he will sleep on a bed of cash, only to be mocked by Anita. Meanwhile, Tiwari (Rohitashv Gour) faces a financial loss and is in urgent need of money. Also, Teeka (Vaibhav Mathur), Tilu (Salim Zaidi) and Malkhan (Vipin Heero) get thrown out of their house and desperately seek help from colony members, only to be dismissed. Vibhuti then meets a smuggler offering 5 lakh per truck for sandalwood smuggling. Tempted, he agrees and brings in TMT and David Chacha (Annup Upadhyay). As the Commissioner (Kishore Bhanushali) assigns border duties to stop smuggling, Vibhuti lies to Anita, claiming he is making money through gambling. With Prem’s (Vishwajeet Soni) financial support, Vibhuti bribes Happu (Yogesh Tripathi) at the checkpoint and soon showers Anita with bundles of cash. When Anita casually mentions Vibhuti’s “new job” to Tiwari, he grows suspicious, disguises himself as a smuggler, and tricks Vibhuti into a fake deal. Vibhuti, unaware, agrees and informs Chacha, who gets furious. Vibhuti then ropes in Angoori with a tempting offer, and she surprisingly agrees. Tiwari, still in disguise, gets distracted by Angoori’s dance while Vibhuti and the gang kidnap and gag him. Vibhuti even decorates Anita’s bed with money in his smug triumph. But Tiwari escapes.”

“The biggest reason is that till date reality shows have not been offered to me. That’s why I haven’t done it. But if there are some offers in future and it interests me then I would definitely like to take it up. Audiences often have a lot of questions about how we are in real life, how we are behind the screen etc. Reality shows give us a chance to reveal ourselves to our viewers. So, I think I will definitely do it,” she says.

Anuradha is open to all sorts of reality shows. However, she would prefer the one where she is able to showcase her real self.

“As I said, I have no experience so I don’t know much about it. But yes reality shows like Khatron ke Khiladi, Roadies would be interesting to do. The reason I said Khatron ke Khiladi is because I am so afraid of a few things in my life which I want to overcome. Recently, at my place, there was a lizard and for one week I didn’t come back home. The first thing I wanted to do was clean my place and I went home only when I was satisfied it was not there. I want to overcome such fears and the show will give me such opportunities,” she adds.

So will she do Bigg Boss, if offered? “I would definitely love to because their weekly tasks are very interesting. And, I have seen majorly during the tasks itself one loses their temper and steps out of their comfort zone. I want to experience that because I always felt like I can easily survive in Bigg Boss as I actually need no one. I always say that for me, my home is like a Bigg Boss house without cameras (laughs). If I do not work for 3-6 months, I can easily stay at home and hardly get out. During the lockdown I didn’t get down for two months. You can call it helplessness but it was easy for me to survive and be happy. I feel I am ready to check my patience via Bigg Boss, also it’ll be fun doing the interesting tasks,” she says.

Reality shows give instant fame. Many contestants have also got a lot of work after the show gets over. Agreeing, Anuradha says, “Suddenly you become from no one to someone. I think the name and fame that you get via reality shows is good because here people see you for real and not as a character.”

There are many who have pointed out that reality shows are fake. Contestants usually act while in it, that everything is a part of a script. The actor, however, has a different opinion

“I don’t think so,” continues Anuradha, “In reality shows also you have to do something like reel, you have to act, everything is scripted so it is difficult. Even in life you do the same. When you do not like a person or don’t enjoy talking to someone, you handle such situations in a certain way. So, even socially we have to adjust, behave nicely and sometimes even act. That little bit of acting is required, it’s something we do in real life too.”
