Sharing his thoughts about the show, Sachin shared, “Despite having played so many roles in my career so far, I’ve always been looking for different characters to be played in my acting journey, which show a drastic change and contrast with my previous ones. I feel that i have taken one step toward romantic roles with Pyaar Tune Kya Kiya.I loved essaying the role of a loverboy which made me really excited and perform to the best of my abilities. My character is of a boy who ends up falling in love with his senior and goes out of his way to win her heart. I wouldn’t want to disclose the entire plot to you because there’s simply no fun in that. So, keep your Saturday free, boys and girls, and watch the episode to be part of a wonderful journey that we’ve experienced.”

Speaking about her character, Vidhi shared, “I am really excited to make my television debut, that too on a popular show like Zing’s Pyaar Tune Kya Kiya. With each one of us having crushes back in school and college, being part of an show with its episode themed around romance between a senior and junior brought back a lot of memories. The role being extremely relatable wasn’t a challenge to essay and I wish I get to play more such characters that really speak to me. I am sure the audience will love watching this cute love story of Shilpi and Aadat.”

The upcoming episode “Oye Junior” is a love story of Aadat and Shilpi who are from the same school. While Aadat loves Shilpi, but being a junior, she treats him like one. Shilpi is a complicated relationship with Sunny which has been engineered by her family but is clearly unhappy. Meanwhile, Aadat keeps trying to impress Shilpi. Sunny is not happy with this development and gets Aadat beaten up. Just when Aadat leaves all hope, Shilpi gets Sunny arrested for blackmailing her and confesses her love to Aadat. While Priyal was a great co-star, the whole team made the shoot fun and exciting. Portraying the role of Aaliya was fun as I haven’t really played the role of a bold and confident girl before. My character Aaliya believes in DINK and is very ambitious and driven. People may think that playing such character it is a cake walk, but it is hard work. I hope my fans enjoy my role in Pyaar Tune Kya Kiya and continue loving my work.”

Sharing his excitement about his episode in Pyaar Tune Kya Kiya season 12, Priyal Gupta said, “I’m extremely thrilled and if I have to give a one liner of the episode to all my fans and viewers, I would say that this is a love story which is full of compassion and connection. Love is so powerful that it can being two people together who want different things from their life. My character Shivin wants to have a child but he cant have one whereas he falls for a girl who believes in DINK. What happens next when these two come together? Season 12 will kickstart this Saturday with a unique love story that revolves around Shivin (Priyal Gupta) and Aaliya (Sakshi Sharma). Shivin is a good-looking and professionally successful man but emotionally detached. Because of his inability to have kids, he is divorced. He loves kids and wants to have one but, in this case, fate isn’t in his hands. Aaliya on the other hand is beauty not just with brain but with confidence as well. She is career oriented, driven and believes in DINK (double income no kids) as she gives her professional and personal freedom utmost priority. Aaliya and Shivin get in a relationship which adds an interesting twist to the story. Aaliya gets pregnant with no clue on how she is supposed to deal with the same because it hinders with her ideology. Shivin always wanted to have a child, whereas Aaliya never saw this coming in her way to fulfil her professional dreams.

Tell us about your role in PTKK?

I am playing the role of Mr. Sudesh Pillai, a South Indian guy who’s a pilot. He is an explorer and has gone on a trek. Due to some mishaps, he had to book a house, and that’s where the actual story begins. If I had to describe my character in three words, I would say – a chilled-out-guy, a charmer, and an explorer.

Tell us about the episode?

If I have to give a one liner of the episode to all my fans and viewers, I would say that this is a love story which is full of compassion, sincerity and connection. There is a strong bond on a human level between the two characters when they fall in love with each other. I am sure viewers will love to watch it. The overall experience has been amazing. The set is happy and vibrant, and everyone is looking forward to our performance.

Since you are shooting in Jaipur, have you got the time to explore the city? What about the city do you like?

Since the shoot schedule has been quite tight and we are trying to finish the shoot in time, I have not got the opportunity to explore Jaipur. But I have heard a lot about the pink city. I am observing this vibrant city while traveling from one shoot location to another. People are very confident over here. I hope I get the time to explore this beautiful city.

How did you bag the role in PTKK?

I have been a part of Pyaar Tune Kya Kiya on Zing since the very formative years of my career. I have played a village guy in Season 7, wherein I performed with Shivangi Joshi. Then I was also a part of Mirza Saheba story 2 years ago and now I’m back on the show and playing a pilot which is an upgrade in my character graph also. I like doing PTKK because it brings me out of my comfort zone. The show is episodic that portrays heart touching love stories wherein I get to play different characters and explore my skills and new stories to perform.

What does love mean to you?

When two people are willing to be with each other and all the external factors like – society, people, caste system do not matter to them, that is love. They will fight all the problems and still figure out a way to be together in modern times like these and that is what love means to me.  

Any relationship advice for the youth?

Infatuation is not love. When you are genuinely in love you will do all those little things together to make your partner feel special. A relationship is blooming when you are spending a lot of time together and when you are not with your partner you miss them a lot. There must be a lot of understanding and efforts to be put in a relationship to make it work.

You are an adventurous guy in the episode. Do you relate to your reel character in real life?

Yes of course I’m very adventurous in nature. I like going out and I like traveling. I’m very outdoorsy kind of a guy. Last I had gone on a road trip from Chandigarh to Leh, Ladakh with my friends and it was a memorable one. I completely relate to my reel character from PTKK.

What is the one factor that helps you decide on taking up a role?

Before taking up any role, I always see to it that I get something new to perform and something that brings me out of my comfort zone. I want to become a performer rather than a star or a celebrity. So, whenever I get to perform, I put in my 100% which gives me a sense of accomplishment.

Since you have played a mix of grey, negative and now positive roles, which do you prefer the most and why?

I started off with positive and comic roles. I did explore and experiment with my characters. When I performed grey and negative characters, it was a fun process, because grey and negative characters give you scope to perform. The negative characters that I have played in the past have become really popular, so people think that I have done only these kinds of characters, but I have played positive characters also. Being an actor, I like to be flexible when it comes to genre and soon the viewers will get to see my upcoming character Sudesh in PTKK and they will like it.

Vishakha (Kshitisha Soni) is an artistically inclined blogger, writer, and poetess. A student by profession and the only daughter to a single mom, she is a person who believes in the thought that imperfection is also beautiful and proudly flaunts the burn mark on her face. Living by example, Vishakha writes about body positivity and beauty and tries to make a difference in the lives of people. On the other hand, is the male lead, Meet (Nitish Gupta) who is a young and dynamic marketing executive in an upcoming beauty brand. Busy in their own lives, the two meet at an event organized by Meet’s company.

Vishakha happens to be a panelist and ends up impressing a lot of people with her words. Meet who is on the lookout for fresh faces to endorse the upcoming natural beauty range approaches Vishakha. However, while the CEO is convinced, Meet is faced with the challenge of convincing his immediate boss who is least impressed by her. The episode starts with Jal and Pakhi running from their homes at 3 in the morning in Agra. While it looks like Jal and Pakhi are escaping together, but Jal is just helping his childhood best friend Pakhi meet her lover Vikram who lives in Delhi. When a year passes, RJ Jal has become a host who is popularly known as Love Guru. He is dating his office love Shikha, but they somehow are not happy together. The story  takes a drastic turn when a girl calls Jal and abuses him for giving her wrong advice and immediately hangs up.

As Jal takes a moment to realise what just happened, he recognises the voice and tries to connect with Pakhi. He calls Vikram, to find out that Pakhi and he had broken up. Worried about Pakhi’s whereabouts, he scans through her social media account but is left in vain. However, he is pleasantly surprised when he finds Pakhi at his door step. With nowhere to go, she asks Jal if she can temporarily stay in his house. As Pakhi starts spending time with Jal, she finds her paintings in Jal’s house, and old love letters which he had written for her but gave it to Vikram so that he can impress her. Filled with mixed emotions, Pakhi decides to confront the Love Guru as a caller.

Nirmala and Ishaani share a tight bond, often spending time reading love stories. Ishaani feels sorry for Nirmala as no one visits her. But for the well-being of Dadi, Ishaani takes matters into her own hands and get Avik to visit her in the hospital. Upon seeing her condition, he decides to move his Dadi to the family house in Ujjain till her condition improves and she can fly to New York with him. He cleans the house and buys all the necessary things that Dadi might need except for the nurse. Dadi being hellbent on Ishaani to be her nurse, Avik goes to the extent of paying her an additional fee. Angered by his action, Ishaani ends up getting into a fight with him. Dadi sees things getting out of control, steps in and insists that Ishaani takes care of her for a month and train another nurse to replace her. The question to be asked is will this fight between Ishaani and Avik continue or will they find a middle ground to help nani? Can their hatred turn into love?
