The store showcases sarees from over 40 weaving clusters across India, each handpicked personally by Kavita from traditional weavers. Over the years, Pratha sarees have been worn by celebrated personalities like Renuka Shahane, Mrinal Kulkarni, Anuradha Paudwal, Amruta Khanvilkar, Sai Tamhankar, Spruha Joshi, Parna Pethe, Shivani Sonar, Shivani Rangole, and Swanandi Tikekar.

Speaking about the brand’s journey, Kavita Koparkar said, “Pratha is not just a saree brand—it is a celebration of Indian heritage and feminine grace. With our Thane expansion, our goal is to take the grandeur of Indian handloom sarees beyond Maharashtra, across India, and to the global stage.”

The brand currently employs over 50 women, and both stores are known for their calm, luxurious ambience. In a candid conversation, Radhika reflected on her journey and shared insights into the show’s evolving narrative. “Every new show progresses,” she explained. “Each year, stories adapt to suit audiences, and our show is no different. It’s designed to resonate with Hindi-speaking viewers and reflect Mumbai’s essence. The creative team is working hard, and I’m confident it will reach greater heights.”

Radhika believes that the essence of compelling storytelling lies in the ups and downs of its characters. “Characters must experience peaks and valleys to make the drama engaging. If a character’s journey is flat, what’s the point? It’s the unpredictability that keeps viewers curious and invested.” Her character Renuka embodies this philosophy. “Renuka is full of surprises. She’s cranky at times, loving at others, and sometimes even right from her perspective. This mix of relatability and unpredictability keeps the audience guessing.”

While she cherishes her role, Radhika acknowledges the challenges of working in daily soaps. “You can’t plan anything perfectly. The schedules are so demanding that personal time becomes a luxury. But that’s the nature of daily shows. Over two decades in this routine have taught me to adapt.”

Despite her busy schedule, Radhika remains passionate about growth. “As an actor, evolving is essential. Learning never stops. If you think you know everything, you’re done. The desire to learn and grow should stay with you until your last breath.”

Looking ahead, Radhika hopes to explore new opportunities. “I want to focus on my health, start an exercise routine, and follow a proper diet. But achieving a routine amid a daily soap schedule is challenging. Let’s see how time allows me to experiment with new things.”

With her grounded perspective and dedication, Radhika Vidyasagar continues to inspire both on and off-screen, proving that the journey of an actor is as dynamic as the roles they play.
