Personally, I wish mobile phones would disappear, and we could return to using landlines. Sharing the significance of Maha Shivratri, he said, “Maha Shivratri is a celebration of Lord Shiva. It is powerful, and in it, we deeply feel the presence of the divine in our existence. Observing the Maha Shivratri fast while expressing our faith in Lord Shiva is a symbol of strength and truth.”

“Just chanting “Har Har Mahadev” and keeping Lord Shiva in my heart, constantly thinking about him, feeling his power and divinity within myself—that’s the ritual, that’s worshiping Shiva,” he added.

The actor has kept a fast most of his life on Maha Shivratri, with occasional breaks, but this time he is planning to do it throughout the festival. He also stressed that true happiness in life comes by the grace of Shiva, and through the divine hand of the Almighty.

“The greatest secret to progress in life is having the support of Shiva. When Shiva wishes, only then can we find joy in life. Keeping Shiva pleased with our actions should be our constant effort,” he concluded.

“I have never ever regretted anything in my life. People who have a fixed temperament are predictable. I have deliberately been working on trying to be unpredictable over a period of time, especially, ever since I took up professional acting,” he said. According to him, he is not supposed to be a fixed guy.

“If I am not fixed that means my temperament is also not fixed. There are at times when others may feel uncomfortable because of my temperament because I am very unpredictable. If you are a very good learner, you also need to unlearn it,” he said.

He shares a very good rapport with his technicians, art director, the entire crew, and everybody who is involved in a project with him.

“I am in love with every person. It’s not just the co-actors. In the business that we are in, it’s very important to take along our entire team and recognize everyone. People who are in front of the camera are very important but people who are behind the camera are equally important,” he noted.
