Deblina Chatterjee said, “I am very excited because my entry has happened at a time when the show has completed 200 episodes. In this serial, I am playing the role of Kanak’s sister Kangana. I started my journey on TV with the serial Sajda Tere Pyaar Mein, in which I played the lead role of Alia, after that I did a lot of serials. I was also part of shows like Balika Vadhu, Sasural Simar Ka, Sankatmochan Mahabali Hanuman, Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai. My last show was Vighnaharta Ganesh, in which I played Goddess Lakshmi.”

Deblina added, “We have shot a very important scene with Shiva Jiju (Nishant Malkani). I ask my brother-in-law to take me around the village but he gets angry. I have acted with Vaishali Thakkar and Nishant Malkani so far, it looks great on the sets, and very supportive co-stars. This is my first show on Dangal TV and I am very excited about it.”
Nishant Malkani, who plays Shiva said, “Today’s sequence is about Kanak’s sister Kangana, I have met her after years. I get irritated by people constantly saying that my sister-in-law is half-gharwali. I am very worried about my sister Rasal, many things are going on in my mind. So when Kangana asks me to take her to the village, I scold her hard and she starts crying. Then Kanak and Rasal come and ask me to take her to the village. Kangana’s attention is something else that Shiva cannot understand. The audience will come to know the truth later.”

Moong Singh) – I congratulate everyone on World Television Day. The two best things about TV are that those who are 80’s born like me, television was like a family member to us. When a new TV came to our house, we used to cover it properly. I remember that at times, only the shows used to come on Doordarshan and all the family members used to sit together and watch. We all used to wait for Ramayan on Sundays as well as Rangoli and Dekh Bhai Dekh. We all used to wait for Sundays to watch a film which also used to come in two parts. Television for us is an emotion and is a thing which everyone has in their houses in villages as well. There are so many people who even think that whether they would be able to go to the theatre to watch a film, but TV is such a thing where people think that they can watch the film on TV when it’s telecast. Television is like anytime entertainment. Now we have OTT platforms, but we have to subscribe and make apps for it like Netflix, Amazon, Hotstar etc. However, with TV, we just plug in the cable and we can watch TV for 24hrs. In rural areas as well we have television and we can easily reach up to them. The second best thing is that I have been known because of the television industry for the work that I have done in the last 15 years. For me, TV is best for me as it gave me recognition.

We always work hard together as a family, we enjoy each and every moment on the set, respect each other, support each other, help each other, and at the end of the week we all wait for the audience’s responses. “My character Kamlesh is a very strong woman, but now, after Umed’s death and Phoolie’s (Sanchita Banerjee) has made her sick.
