Speaking about his debut, Sahil Khan shared, “I have struggled a lot to make my place in Bollywood as an assistant choreographer. I have choreographed a lot of songs from Ghungroo in WAR to the recent track of Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2. It was one fine day during lockdown where my dancing video had recently gone viral and I got a call from the casting team of Dehati Disco to come and meet Master Ji and the Director Manoj Sharma.

He further adds, “I assumed I was called to choreograph the song, ‘Uparwale’ for the movie only to realise that I was called because I was selected to play the lead antagonist in the film. I was stunned by the news. It is because of great people like Ganesh Acharya and director Manoj Sharma that I will now see myself on the big screen.”

Dehati Disco starring Ganesh Acharya, Ravi Kishan, debutant Sahil Khan and Super Dancer-Chapter 3 finalist Saksham Sharma is directed by Manoj Sharma and produced by Gitesh Chandrakar, Vaseem Qureshi and Kamal Kishor, under the banner Qureshi Productions Pvt ltd and One Entertainment Film Productions, set to release in cinemas on 27th May 2022.
