A recent video clipping has gone viral where the host of the show, Sunny Leone, is literally dragging Sakshi and forcing her to take her place on the podium. She does this because Sakshi interrupts her.

“The video is about the time when we all were in the dumping zone and there was a fight between two contestants. Everybody was speaking up and trying to prove their point. I was one of those contestants who was trying to put my point across and I was just saying something and, in the flow, I didn’t hear that she said something. When I realised that she was trying to explain, and my point wasn’t complete. So somehow I interrupted her and I said sorry about it. Unfortunately, Sunny got really furious and she just crossed the line,” she says, adding, “Sunny Leone is beautiful, but just from outside. Asking me to host the show was unnecessary. Even in the future if I get a chance to host a show, I won’t be disrespectful to other human beings”.

Sakshi says, “It was very embarrassing for me. Maybe I should have not interrupted her but what she did was beyond acceptable. She dragged me and told me to stand at her place and she came to my place and stood in the dumping zone. Her behaviour was very rude and it wasn’t a language that anyone would want to hear. People are reacting very strongly and they are slamming Sunny. They are supporting me which is so good. There are still people who respect other people and nobody gives a right to a host to disrespect somebody like this and drag them. This is just like taking undue advantage of your position.”

Sunny was never kind to Sakshi, says the latter. “From the very beginning, she wasn’t nice to me and since the time Uorfi came, she was taking her side. Uorfi and I became friends later and that’s a different story. Sunny was just rude to me. Off camera also, she said a lot of mean stuff that is not even recorded. I know the real face of her. One day, when we all were getting dumped, all of us got fever, maybe some viral was spread in the villa. Everyone got cough and cold. I got it at the beginning and I didn’t feel well enough to perform the water task. Meanwhile I was discussing with the team that I was not well. The rules were explained to other contestants but I had to go for the task because of course the show is bigger than these small things. And because I was there with other people discussing my problem, rules were not explained to me . But again, Sunny yelled at me there without knowing that I was not explained the rules properly. That was still okay, she said later that I should have told her that I was sick,she would have helped . But the very next day when my condition got worse and I told her to please consider, She replied to me saying, “Are you dying ? Until you are in a hospital bed, I don’t believe you are sick!”. I was shocked hearing this. All these things are still acceptable, but manhandling someone in public on a reality show is not acceptable even when I said sorry.

We got in touch with Sakhi, who tells us that this was not exactly what happened. “It’s not the whole story that they have shown, since it’s just a promo. I don’t know if I’m allowed to say everything that actually happened. I can talk about it when the show releases. They can go to any level,” she says.

Sakshi adds that she never felt the need to go through Uorfi’s social media profiles or do a background check on her. “I wish I also stalked her the way she has been stalking me since forever. But she was so irrelevant that I never actually thought about opening her Instagram and checking out her posts,” she says.

The actor feels that reality shows deliberately put contestants in such positions that they end up fighting with each other. “Of course, they do this otherwise, what’s the point of a reality show? Who’s going to watch lovey-dovey stuff? People love masala and that’s what the creators know that this is the reason why the show will run and do well,” she says.

Ask her how Uorfi is as a person, and she says, “Initially, I couldn’t stand her. She was that bad. And I just hated her. And I was like, why is she even on the show? She did a lot of stuff which was unacceptable, which we’ll watch when that whole episode gets released. She started making personal comments on me, on my Instagram posts, and she called me names and abused me. But I was in power. I was the queen bee at that time. In fact, one time she even made us lose the whole task because of the way she behaved with me.”

However, Sakshi maintains that she did not comment on Uorfi’s dressing sense in the way it has been shown in the promo. “The relationship between us is not really great. Maybe later, it might turn out to be good. But at this point of time, we didn’t like each other, we were enemies. I am a very free minded soul and I really don’t care what people wear. It’s their choice. So, I would never comment on her clothes. I would never go down to the level where I tell her that okay, you wear this or that? I mean, it’s fine!” she says.

She adds, “Now let’s see what is shown in the episode because there are a lot of things that happened and looking forward to seeing what is shown.”

“My last project was with AK and it was Gallan Dogaliyan. It had the concept of betrayal and it was released by T-series. The other one was Husan Lahori which was shot in Jaisalmer and it was amazing,” she says.

Talking about her association with Addy, Sakshi says, “Addy is my really old and good friend and we have been deciding to do this video for a few years. I am so glad that we finally did it now. It took almost a year to release.”

Punjabi music videos are getting popular day by day, says Sakshi, adding, “You can also see Bollywood adapting this music culture as well. Also, it wouldn’t be wrong to say that Punjabi is the second most favourite language.”

However, Sakshi wants to do Hindi music videos as well. “I haven’t done any Hindi music videos yet but I am definitely looking forward to doing them. Meanwhile, I would just like to say please keep showering love on our new song and keep supporting us,” she says.
