Birender Dhillon and Shamsher Lehri describe the song ‘Ishq Nu Chedi Na’ as an ‘Ibadat’. They recall Ishq as a transient force which is as destructive as it can be divine. It is powerful in its presence and is absolutely formidable in its absence.

Ishq Nu Chedi Na bears testimony to the fact that Ishq cannot be understood, or rationalised or reasoned with. Ishq can only be lived, felt and experienced.

Birender Dhillon and Shamsher Lehri quote saying “History shows that love has no boundaries- Laila- Majnu, Shirin – Farhad, Heer- Ranjha; they all have taught us the real meaning of love in its truest and purest form.”

Lyrics by Mohammad Rafiq, Shamsher Lehri quotes saying “Ishq is where all art is born. Ishq is where all art goes to die. It is the purest manifestation of all human emotions, it is the peak, the ultimate high and the essence of our emotional core.”

Musicians Joy-Atul quote saying “Ishq is an emotion, the most powerful impulse that humans are capable of and in the journey of the divine, that state and impulse is fundamental to push us forward.”
