Pradeep Ghule, who portrays the character of Pratap in the show, shares how they celebrated Makar Sankranti on set, “During Makar Sankranti, we follow a traditional practice of placing new items before God as a gesture of respect and belonging. But this year celebrating Makar Sankranti on the set of our show ‘Sau. Pratap Manasi Supekar’ was a unique and delightful experience. Flying kites with my co-stars and sharing Tilgul added a festive touch to our day. The atmosphere was filled with joy and laughter. It was heartwarming to celebrate this auspicious occasion with my co-stars and we created beautiful memories together.”

Shravan month is considered very pious, especially in Maharashtra. As a lot of festivals fall into this months and in these festive times Shemaroo Marathibana has brought a bouquet of Marathi films for the viewers. To double the joy of festivals, ‘Shemaru Marathibana’ has brought a treasure trove of films for the audience. In the months of August and September, this festive explosion of films will be aired on ‘Shemaru Marathibana’ channel. Razakar will open this festival on August 15 on the occasion of Independence Day.

‘Razakar’ is a story which happens around the Hyderabad liberation struggle. Even after India gained Independence, the people of Marathwada had to fight to free themselves from the yoke of the Nizam. The militant group that the Nizam enlisted to survive about seven decades ago is referred to in history as the Razakars, who were utterly ruthless. The film, which has a different theme, will be aired on Saturday, August 15 at 12.00 noon on the occasion of Independence Day and a repeat telecast on 7.00 p.m.

Hridaynath, starring Jackie Shroff, Urmila Matondkar, Aditya Pancholi and Chinmayi Sumit, will be aired on Sunday, August 23 at 12 noon and 7.00 p.m. The story covers the journey of an honest teacher who becomes a Don.
