Elaborating on the platinum look, Shweta reasoned, “We decided that we should experiment something. Aajkal waise bhi yeh platinum look is in. Arjun Rampal made headlines with his platinum hair and he was in a way an inspiration to experiment.” Sports nutritionist Kinita Kadakia contributed to Shweta’s weight loss.

Shweta was last seen in Bharat Dabholkar’s play ‘That’s My Girl’ which was a father-daughter story. She elaborated, “I was happy even when I was 82 kg, I am happy even now. But yes, I am really enjoying my new avatar. I remember Waheedaji (Rehman) coming to see ‘That’s My Girl’ and asking Bharat sir ki yeh chhota patakha kahan se laya. I also had a very good time doing the short film ‘Parineeti’.”

Shweta is very much single and focused on her work. If the buzz is to be believed she may soon be seen in a big project as an actor.

She adds, “I relate to the friendship Rishina and my character share and one thing that I relate to my character is that she comes across as somebody who lives her life to the fullest. But that’s all.”

The character has a very bold look, which she loves, says Shweta. “It’s quite different from what I have done so far. The journey of my character had not begun like this. Shanaya, when I had joined Girl Talk, was quite different. I love the show and it is fun shooting with Aneeta, Rishina and the team,” she says.

The series ‘Four More Shots Please’ was based on the equations shared by four friends. However, Shweta says Girl Talk is different. “Well, Four More Shots’ is quite different from ours as they have their stories going on and it’s a series. We are an anthology and simple short conversations between girls, there is nothing more or less to it,” she says.

They don’t want a knight in shining armor to save themselves, they just want to live their life freely without anyone judging them now and then. They shouldn’t be perceived as weak, and women are in no competition with anyone, so it was amazing to speak the mind without sugar coating.”

Aneeta, too, spoke about the show and said that it is for all the women out there. She added, “The title speaks for itself. The show is about a group of girls, the independent alpha women of today, who are unapologetic but confident and positive. In a way, the show gives a picture to all those curious guys who want to know what goes on behind closed doors.”

Sharing her experience of working with the girls, she further said, “The girls were brilliant, we had an amazing time working with them. They were in sync with my vision for ‘Girl Talk’ and this made it quite easy for us to deliver our best. There is more to them than what you see from the outside.”
