‘#Takatak2′, like it’s first instalment, is also a musical comedy movie. The film has also used the formula of presenting melodious music while adding a nice touch of #entertainment value. The movie comments on the shortcomings in the society in a humorous way. The chartbuster title track of ‘Takatak 2’ has been released recently.

Directed by #writer-director #MilindKavde, ‘Takatak 2’. The title song’s lyrics ‘#GheTakatakDeTakatak…’. Are penned by Jai Atre while singers #HarshavardhanWavre and #MugdhaKarhade have lent voices. Composer Varun Likhte composed the music for this song.

Sharing the experience of composing the title track of ‘Takatak 2’, Varun said that it is very important to have a title that suits the plot of the film and a title track that suits the title. #LyricistJaiAtre has penned the title song in very beautiful words, which is the soul of the film. This is a song that complements the plot. Harshavardhan Wavre and Mugdha Karhade are the talented singers of today’s generation. They have tried to do justice to the words written. The original concept of ‘Takatak 2’ is by Milind Kavde and he has also written the story and screenplay. Dialogue writers Kiran Berad and Sanjay Navgire have written dialogues. DOP #HazratSheikh Wali has done the cinematography and background music has been done by Abhinay Jagtap. Nilesh Gundale is the executive producer of this film.

‘Takatak 2’ is produced by Reliance Entertainment Studios in association with Purple Bull Entertainment and produced by #OmprakashBhatt, #RelianceEntertainmentStudios, #Nareshchoudhary, #AdityaJoshi. Milind Kavde is the director of this movie.

“We all know Dhadkan on Sony TV is getting very popular. In a very less time, it has made its place in the audience’s heart. Earlier also I received a call for the show, but due to some reason I wasn’t able to accept it,” she recalled.

Again she got a call and she accepted it. “They told me it’s a cameo and a very good character, so I said yes. Sony has always been one of my favourite channels,” she said. “The second thing is it’s Nilanjana ma’am and Herumb sir’s production, and I did not want to lose this opportunity to work with them and the fact I got this offer in the new year, I felt really blessed. I’m pretty sure it will be a good year as the beginning is so good,” she added.

She is playing doctor Namrita Sharma, who is a psycho therapist and head of the psychology department. “The way they talk and consult the patient was something I worked on, how patiently they handle everything, with a smiling face and a positive attitude with the patients. They make sure that the other person should feel that the psychologist is showing genuine concern, so I worked on that,” she shared.

According to her, the set vibes are good. “I have been shooting for the show for quite sometime now. Overall, it’s good. The only thing is that the set is pretty far,” she said with a laughs. But that’s okay for her.

“I would also like to thank Janet for suggesting my name for this character. She has that faith and trust in me, so I’m very thankful to Janet and Nilanjana ma’am ne bhi accept karliya, so let’s hope for the best that I can do justice to my character,” she said.

“It’s a medical-related character and show, toh yeh toh bohot kareebi dil ka maamla hai, especially because of what we’ve seen in the last two years. It’s an important subject which people can connect to, so even I felt very good when I was approached for this show. I also discuss it with my husband who is a doctor,” she added.

She is playing a doctor for the first time. “Let’s see how well I can carry this character. I hope the audience will love me and give me their best wishes and blessings. I am happy that I am playing a character in a good show and not a typical saas-bahu drama,” she said.

“I’m totally against home delivery. It’s fine in case of an emergency, but not daily. I always prefer ghar ka khana. I take my tiffin on shoots as well. I carry extra food as everyone is together at lunch time and we share food,” she said.

“I have also taught my kids basic cooking so that they avoid eating outside food. The quantity is never satisfactory and charges are also high and there’s always a question on hygiene so I try to avoid as much as I can. However, I feel our stomach should have the habit of all types of food. If I’m with my friends, at some party, with family for dinner or if I need a break from routine then I have outside food,” she added.

The “Balika Vadhu” actress also said that she prefers to have healthy food, but doesn’t believe in ignoring sugar. “I follow good eating habits but it doesn’t mean avoiding sugar is compulsory. In some dishes we need sugar, but we need to control its use.”

Smita also revealed that she is a good cook and said, “I’m not praising myself but my family members and my friends love what I cook.” And sharing her love for food, she confessed, “I’m a foodie but not crazy that I want to eat a dish right away or I want this dish from that restaurant only.”

“I’m ok with good taste. But I can’t eat dal rice or roti sabji daily. I always prefer some varieties,” she concluded.

“One of my friends, who knew about my love for acting, told me about an audition. At that time I didn’t know much about auditions, but I still tried and to my surprise got selected. I started my career with Apradhi Kaun. It was a Nitish Bhardwaj production for Star Plus. They chose me for one story and that experience taught me a lot. Then they approached me for a few more stories because they liked my work,” says the Mere Sai – Shraddha Aur Saburi actor, who always gave priority to her family and ended up compromising on her work from time to time.

For those who might wonder why she studied to be a doctor if she always wanted to become an actor, the reason was to fulfil her mother’s wish. Her elder sister is also an established dental surgeon in Aurangabad. In fact, Smita’s husband is also a doctor.

“My mother got married when she was in ninth standard and the next year she gave birth to my elder sister. After that, she completed her M.Sc. B.Ed but didn’t get admission in a medical college and missed her chance. So it was her wish that her daughters would become doctors,” says Smita, whose favourite role and show so far is Saibaba (Sagar Arts). Her prominent shows also include Balika Vadhu and Maharana Pratap

“Many things happened to me while I was doing this show. I was about to do the character for two months but it got extended. I conceived my younger son while working on the show and also I lost my father… I didn’t get any support from my parents or in-laws when I decided to pursue this profession, so I struggled a lot, but when Saibaba worked out, my father and the rest of my family members were happy. When I wanted to leave the show because of my pregnancy, Moti Sagar ji asked me to continue and I listened to him and shot till my ninth month,” she reveals.

Next, Smita will be seen in a show tentatively titled Chota Pandit. Speaking on her character, she says, “I play a typical Indian mother. It’s the character of a thakurain. She is firm and sober, but she wants things to be done her way. Devi Singh is the name of my character, and Thakur’s character is being played by Manish Khanna ji.”

Amid acting, Smita also took her passion for singing and driving forward. “I run a banner named Music Mantra. I’ve had many singers working with me… JK tyres and WIIA organises a car rally for women on Women’s Day, and I have been participating in that for the last three years. And, for the last two years, I’ve won prizes too. The result of 2019 hasn’t been declared,” she adds.

So, does she regret not practicing medicine anymore? “That’s there, but not much because at home, in my family, and even on the sets also, if anyone is suffering from anything, I’m always ready to help. I’ve not just suggested people on the set medicines but also tests. So all these things are going on but my passion is acting, so I’m happy being able to do that,” she signs off.

I consider my fans as my support system. It is a unique relationship where I haven’t met (all of them), but they still root for me, support me, shower immense love. In such demanding times, they still invest their time and efforts to make me feel special in their best way.

I feel overwhelmed. And seeing such love keeps me motivated, I always strive to keep them entertained and happy with my work. I hope I always make them proud.

I was once driving back home from the set when I saw this girl who was waving at me and was trying to grab my attention. And the moment I realized, I pulled over and she came running to me and told me she is a fan and that she made her fiancé wait and detoured just to meet me. She was in tears after meeting me.

Salim Diwan: Actors exist because of their fans

For a true artist, appreciation matters more than money. Artists want people to recognize their work, earn fame. Fan adulation motivates me to do better. They are very important to me. Their loyalty and support help you wade through all the difficult times of your life. Whatever happens, your loyal fans will never leave your side. I am grateful for having them in my life. In fact, I would say actors exist because of their fans.

There is one fan of mine, whom I have never met, but he found me on social media and sends me a request every day with multiple ids so I can accept his request and after some time I noticed him and accepted his request, and then he requested me for my address. Since then till now, he sends me a special cake on every birthday. I feel grateful for such love and support.

One interesting incident is one of my fans got to know his best friend is dating my friend. Then they came to my place to meet me and even that fan came along with him. The moment he saw me he was so scared and nervous. Then my friend told me he was my biggest fan. The memorable thing is he asked for an autograph and I was not getting a paper so he removed his handkerchief and said that give your autograph on it. He had framed the handkerchief.

Hasan Zaidi: Adulation of fans is very touching
I don’t like people who are too inclusive. By the grace of Allah, we have so many people who admire and adore us and it’s such a good thing. Earlier there was Facebook or Instagram so you weren’t so easily accessible. I am very humbled to people who talk about my work rather than my looks.

I did two episodes in ‘Gumraah’ where I played gay man and I received a lot mails from fans writing such great things. The adulation that I got was very touching.

I had one very interesting fan experience when I was shooting in Malta for ‘Bharat’. A little girl came up to me for an autograph on a card and I wrote ‘Girl power’ and signed it. She then said “Can you also ask him who is sitting next to you to get me an autograph?” Guess who was sitting next to me, Salman Khan.
Salman had a long queue for autographs, so that girl could not get his autographs but she had my autograph and when she went away, she smiled back at me & waved. That was a really cute and heartwarming experience for me.

I was traveling back to Mumbai from Diu from the shoot of ‘Ishk Par Zor Nahi’ last month and had got vaccinated two days back. My body was still weak, and I wasn’t able to pick up my trolley, which was really heavy. I was catching my breath, when a guy in his early 20s came forward to help. I was a little awkward, but he picked it up and simply said “Sir, I’m a big fan of ‘Ishk Par Zor Nahi’ and you. I like your look and acting.” The same person stayed back and helped me with my bags at the baggage belt even in Mumbai, even though his bag had arrived much earlier than mine. And I was truly touched by this gesture.

Jasmin Bhasin: Fans motivate me to perform better

I remember going to Amritsar with my friend and it was a short trip and I didn’t want anybody to know I was in Amritsar. So I quietly covered my face and I was walking towards the Golden temple from the hotel as my hotel was close by to the temple.

I don’t know how but in a few seconds a crowd gathered and they recognized me. It was so overwhelming to see such a lovely response from the public towards me. Every day the first thing we see is social media and the love and wishes from our fans. They motivate me and I get a kick to perform better.

Once I went shopping and a salesgirl noticed me and was continuously following us, I ignored her thinking it might be a coincidence. But when I finished my shopping and came to the billing counter she also came there. She refused to take payment from me. I was surprised and asked her why she said, I regularly watch your show ‘Balika Vadhu’. I was happy and acknowledged her gesture. And told her to take the payment, she gave me carry bags as a compliment and later took a picture with me.
The relationship between fans and actors is symbiotic, they both love and value each other and certainly that’s how it should be.
