Set against the backdrop of Prayagraj, the show focuses on the exciting yet dramatic journey of Maitree and her soul sister, Nandini.  The two best friends have been inseparable since their childhood, so much so that their mothers also question them as to what will they do when either of them gets married? For every actor bagging a new role is exhilarating, and then they work very hard every day to give their best and 100% of themselves to entertain the viewers of the show. Recently the lead actor Namish Taneja started shooting for his role, Ashish, in the show but before that he ensured that he visits ‘Vaishno Devi’ temple as always. He is clearly a religious person and believes in visiting temples and especially ‘Vaishno Devi’ temple every time before he starts shooting for his next project to seek the blessing of Maa Sherawali for the successful launch of his show.

Namish Taneja mentioned, “I am coming back to television after more than one and a half years as I was waiting for a good role to play. I opted for this show because of my character and the storyline. After getting selected for this role and before I started shooting, my priority was to visit the ‘Vaishno Devi’ temple. For me, it is very important to seek the blessings of Maa Sherawali because I believe whatever good has happened in my life is because of her blessings. I make sure to visit the temple sometime with my family or most of the time alone to express my gratitude. So, I ensure that before starting the shoot of any project of mine, I visit Vaishno Devi Temple, it makes me feel very positive.”

While Namish Taneja really enjoyed his trip to Vaishno Devi temple, it will be interesting to watch him as Ashish who will be married to Maitree’s best friend Nandini in the show.

So how tough was it for the production house to create a show under pandemic? “Yes there are challenges but if you have planned then it is fine to work ensuring everyone’s safety.” Sudhir’s better half Seema is equally involved in the production house, and they have nicely divided the responsibilities among them. “Seema and I set up Sunshine together because we realised early on that we work in perfect tandem. We both want to do our jobs well. We both are hands on. So there lies the commonality. I can write a full page article on how we both share our responsibilities. People come up to us and ask who is more creative and who is more into business? We really have no answer to that as we both are involved in both the aspects of creation . It’s often the story or series that defines our individual roles.”
On the show, Shaleen Malhotra will be seen as Special Agent Karan Shergill, who is a disciplinarian. His edgy beliefs have no room for sympathy towards other’s pain. Kaveri Priyam of Yeh Rishtey Hain Pyaar Ke will play Dr Monami. Actor Kunal Karan Kapoor is making a comeback with Ziddi Dil. He will be seen playing the role of Sid Ganju, a rich, spoilt brat, who is careless when it comes to fulfilling his duty. Diljot Chhabra will essay the role of Special Agent Sanjana. Simple Kaul and Aditya Deshmukh as Nurse Koel and Faizi will play a couple on the show. The show will premiere on August 30th on Sony SAB.
