Manoj ‘Bharat’ Kumar Special in Super Dancer Chapter 5!

As patriotic fervour sweeps across the nation, Sony Entertainment Television brings a first-of-its-kind tribute to legendary actor #ManojKumar, fondly known as Bharat Kumar, for his iconic patriotic films and unwavering love for the country. This special episode features stellar performances on his memorable songs, fascinating lesser-known trivia, and heartfelt anecdotes.

Host Paritosh Tripathi opened the episode saying, “The entire nation is immersed in the spirit of patriotism. In India, people express their love for the country in different ways, but Manoj Kumar, born on 24 July 1937, chose cinema as his medium to express it. Through films like Purab Aur Pachhim, he spread his love for the nation in all directions. Today, on the Super Dancer stage, we salute both Bharat and Bharat Kumar.”

Judge #ShilpaShetty joined the celebration by adding an interesting piece of trivia, saying, “Manoj Ji ko Naman. When I had just entered the industry, people wrote me fan letters, and I always wondered how they found my address—this was before social media. Yet, the letters would always reach me. But in Manoj ji’s time, I heard that people didn’t even need his address. They would simply write his name on the letter, and it would still reach him. Isn’t that incredible?”

Veteran actress #ArunaIrani, who has worked closely with Manoj Kumar, shared fond memories and rare stories from her time with the legendary star through a specially recorded video message.

A ‘Fan’ moment for Remo D’Souza on the show ‘SD-C4’!

#SuperDancer has been a front-runner ever since its inception in keeping the audience intrigued with remarkable dance performances every season. Keeping up with the tradition, Super Dancer – Chapter 4’s every episode promises to double the excitement with exceptional dance performances and mind-blowing choreography. This weekend, #FarahKhan and #RemoDSouza will grace the show as guest judges alongside #GeetaKapur and witness the contestants showcase ‘no prop challenge’ performances.

Amidst all the fabulous performances, Sprihaa from Morigaon, Assam, stole the judges’ hearts with her extraordinary moves and dance performance on the song, ‘Yeh Haseen Vadiyan’ with super guru Sanam Johar. Immediately after the performance, Farah Khan gave her a standing ovation and said, “Every time I have come on Super Dancer, I have witnessed something which I have never witnessed before. We have been on several reality shows, and yet I think Sprihaa was Nayab (something which is rarely found).” She further added, “Main aapke gaon ke logo ko thank you bolna chahungi, jinhone hame ek hira diya hai.”

Remo D’Souza said, “Pehle audition se hi main aapka fan hogaaya tha Sprihaa. The way you performed today was so beautiful. You have great flexibility, and the dance act was outstanding. Sanam and Sprihaa’s combination is amazing, both your dance style is the same.” After sharing his thoughts, Remo D’Souza could not resist and asked if he could take a selfie with Sprihaa. He went up to the stage, took a selfie with Sprihaa and said, “Sprihaa, aap jab badi ho jayengi, aur jab bahut badi star bhi ban jayengi na, ye selfie mere pas rahega.” he further added. He also praised choreographer Sanam Johar, who has been a student to Remo D’Souza.

Later, on the show, Geeta Maa asked Remo to showcase his super move in front of the contestants, and the contestants gave in their best to replicate the same.

Karnataka’s Pruthviraj makes judges emotional on Super Dancer – Chapter 4!

#SonyEntertainmentTelevision’s popular show #SuperDancer is back with its new season, Super Dancer – Chapter 4. The auditions for the same have recently come to an end, and the top 13 contestants who have been selected, will be competing to win the title. The upcoming episode is the grand premier of the show, that has a promising line-up of terrific performance by Super 13. One such Contestant, who won the judges hearts and even made them emotional was Contestant Pruthaviraj from Karnataka along with Choreographer Subhranil.

The two performed on the song ‘Jabse Mere Naina’ and impressed the judges Shilpa Shetty Kundra, Geeta Kapur and Anurag Basu. Their endearing performance touched the judges hearts so much so that they couldn’t hold back their tears. A teary-eyed Geeta Kapur gave their act a Sajda. She said, “There is so much innocence, grace, love and passion in his dance, Pruthvi is so effortless at what he does.” Shilpa Shetty Kundra went on to say, “Pruthaviraj chand jaisa chamakta hai bina kisi daag ke. Also it was beautifully choreographed by Subhranil,” and on knowing about his father not being around, Shilpa assured his parents that he’s safe and in the right place and will get all the love and affection that he deserves, on a video call with his family. Shilpa even climbed the ladder as a gesture of acknowledgement for Pruthvi along with him. “I am so looking forward to see this pair,” she further added.

Contestant Pratiti, her mother and a judge dance on ‘Piya Tose Naina’in ‘SD-C4’!

One of the most talked-about shows on the Indian small screen, #SonyEntertainmentTelevision’s #SuperDancer – Chapter 4 is receiving the love of the audience for its interesting content and phenomenal kids’ talent. After announcing its Super 13 contestants, this weekend, in the Grand Premier, the judges and the audience will witness outstanding performances of the contestants as they set foot on the stage with their choreographers for the first time.

Amid a variety of Western dance forms by Super 13, the judges were particularly impressed with Contestant Pratiti Das’s classical act. Contestant Pratiti, who hails from West Bengal, has been paired up with Choreographer Shweta Warrier, who’s known for Street-O-Classical, which is an amalgamation of Bharatnatyam along with freestyle Western dance moves. The two performed on the song ‘More Piya’ from the film Devdas.

Geeta Kapur, who showered praises for Shweta and Pratiti’s act, said, “It’s difficult to showcase new variations in this dance form; it’s a big task. We have so many dance forms, still people have adapted more to Western forms. But, to keep their interest levels intact in Indian dance form is something that you guys have managed to do. I can see a new generation of a fabulous dancer coming up. Shweta and Pratiti, outstanding work!”

Shilpa Shetty Kundra added that she found their “Bhumi Bhanjan Nritya Pradarshan as Super Se Bhi Uperrr”. She said, “Shweta, you are unbelievably graceful. Pratiti is lucky to have found a guru like you.”

Later, Pratiti’s mother joined her and Shweta on stage, and the three danced on ‘Piya Tose Naina’ and enthralled the judges with their graceful classical moves.

Shilpa Shetty Kundra reminisces childhood moments with sister Shamita!

#SonyEntertainmentTelevision’s dance reality show ‘#SuperDancer – Chapter 4’ has found its ‘Super 13’ contestants of the season and going forward all the contestants and choreographers will be seen celebrating ‘#NachpanKaTyohar’ while giving neck-to-neck competition to win the title. This weekend, the SD4 will showcase its grand premiere episode, the contestants and the choreographers will be performing together for the first time and each performance promises to be grand.

Amidst all the dance acts, Mumbai Contestant Aneesh Tattikota and Choreographer Akash Shetty nailed their performance as they danced their way through a remixed track of ‘Allah Duhai Hai’ from Race 2. On seeing their cool act, Judge Anurag Basu said, “Kya power hai yar? Outstanding. Swag hai!” When Akash introduced himself as Akash Shetty and the moment judge Shilpa Shetty heard his name, she said, “Yeh show ka naam Super Dancer se Super Shetty Rakhna chahiye(laughs).” Later Anurag asked Akash about his experience mentoring Aneesh, and Akash said, “I want to thank Aneesh for his hard work, because of him, I am here. I consider him as my younger brother. I was more nervous than him because he has already performed twice in front of you all and this was the first time for me.” Contestant Aneesh further revealed that he has fear of height and yet he managed to do flips and tricks in his dance act due to encouragement and support from his mentor Akash.

After getting amazing comments from all the judges, host Rithvik made a video call to Aneesh’s fans which turned out to be his elder brother. Aneesh and his brother revealed many of their secrets, and in no time they got carried away in a fun banter, looking at which judge Shilpa Shetty Kundra shared her experience growing up with younger sister Shamita. She said, “Shamita and I used to fight a lot, maybe because of the age gap. As a kid, there was not a single thing that I may have not used to throw at Shamita (Chuckles). Both my father and mother used to go to work, so there was a time when my mother sent me to my Nani’s house and those three months, I missed Shamita a lot. I think because of this show, Aneesh and his brother will start missing each other. And as they say, distance make the hearts grow fonder.” Judge Anurag Basu also shared his childhood memories with his brother Abhishek and how they share a quintessential siblings’ bond and banter.

From finding talent from across the country to the judges approach an guidance, to the hosts’ masti and extending a guru-shishya learning ground to the talent, this show offers entertainment in its purest form.

This week, with the selection of top contestants will also bring forth choreographers ‘gurus’ who will partake in this journey along with the contestants. After three successful seasons in a row, Super Dancer is back with Chapter 4! The new season promises to be bigger and grander in its scale, entertainment quotient, and versatility of talent from across the nation.

One such example would be of ‘Sanchit Chanana’ from Jalandhar, Punjab who is back with a bang for Chapter 4. The 10-Year-old was asked sent back for revision in the last season in the audition round. However, Sanchit took all the comments in a positive way and gave an intense performance on ‘Ek prem da pyala pee Aya’ which left the judges pleasantly surprised with his ‘nachpan’.

Geeta Kapur who has always kept a strict eye to determine the level of dedication and determination of a dancer, found a lot of clarity in his dance steps and Shilpa Shetty Kundra found his performance as ‘super se uparrr’ and said, “Revision Karke Bomb Jaisa blast hone wapas aye hai.”

Sony Entertainment Television’s popular kids dance reality show Super Dancer which is known to scout extraordinary talent from across the country, is back with its new season. Super Dancer – Chapter 4 will celebrate Nachpan Ka Tyohaar and felicitate exceptional talent among kids.

After three successful seasons, Shilpa Shetty Kundra, Geeta Kapur and Anurag Basu are back on the judges’ panel to pick ‘dance ka kal’. With each season, the camaraderie and bond between them has only got stronger. They share a crackling rapport and are often seen pulling each other’s leg. The audience enjoy witnessing the bond between the three judges.

Anurag Basu, who is affectionately addressed as Dada, is a big prankster on the sets of the show and is always pulling some trick or the other on the other two judges. Shilpa Shetty Kundra who always falls prey to Dada’s pranks, says, “Dada is fun to be around with. He is like a mischievous kid on the set, who is up to some mischief.
