Raid 2 is produced by Bhushan Kumar, Kumar Mangat Pathak, Abhishek Pathak and Krishan Kumar. The film is presented by Gulshan Kumar and T-Series and is a Panorama Studios production. Directed by Raj Kumar Gupta, Raid 2 is set to release theatrically on 1st May 2025.

Supriya Pathak said, “When I heard the script, I thought it’s an interesting slice of life kind of show and I felt that I could do justice to the character. I liked the whole set up. I enjoyed the meeting with the director and the producers. It just seemed like we’ll have a lot of fun making this so I think it was more of a belief that I’ll be able to do it and make it fun & enjoyable. That’s the reason why I really wanted to be part of Home Shanti.”

Manoj Pahwa shared, “When I got this script and I read it, I really loved it. The scenario of web series right now is mostly focussed around crime, underworld, mafia with abusive language. After reading the script of Home Shanti, I was relieved. This was one web series which was family oriented and homely which can be enjoyed with the entire family. It was a well written script, with a touch of comedy and emotions around the aspirations of a middle-class family. It instantly hit a chord, making me feel that I can be a part of this rather than doing something which is already being pursued in a larger number.”

Hotstar Specials presents Home Shanti offers viewers a warm hug with its storyline surrounding the lovably chaotic lives of a comic Hindi newspaper columnist, Umesh Joshi, his stoic retired government school vice-principal wife, Sarla Joshi, and their 22 and 16-year-old children, Jigyasa Joshi and Naman Joshi. It traces the journey of this non-descript middle-class family of Dehradun, offering a heartfelt story that is generic, yet specific to all who one day aspire to build their own homes. Home Shanti is a joyful watch that explores the relationship between parents and siblings and how they strengthen in the face of adversaries.

Penned by writers Akshay Asthana, Aakanksha Dua, Nidhi Bisht, Mayank Pandey, Nikhil Sachan and Saurabh Khanna. Produced by Posham Pa Pictures, the series will be released on Disney+ Hotstar on 6th May.

‘Rashmi Rocket’ is about a young girl, Rashmi (played by Taapsee Pannu) from Kutch, blessed with a gift. She’s an incredibly fast runner who dreams of crossing the finish line. In the journey to fulfilling her dreams, she soon realizes that the race to the finish line is peppered with many hurdles, and what seems like an athletic contest turns into her personal battle for respect, honour, and even her very identity.

Produced by Ronnie Screwvala, Neha Anand and Pranjal Khandhdiya and directed by Akarsh Khurana, ‘Rashmi Rocket’ also stars Abhishek Banerjee, Priyanshu Painyuli, Supriya Pathak, Supriya Pilgaonkar and Manoj Joshi.

The entire team of Mimi including Kriti Sanon, Supriya Pathak, Pankaj Tripathi has been shooting in Mandwa, Jaipur lately. It was like any other day on the shoot and after the wrap as she was going to the base her leg got twisted and there was swelling but when it started aching badly was the time she was taken to a doctor and did everyone get to know that it a wasn’t any ordinary injury but a fracture.

Saie said  “I really got scared and was very much in stress when I got to know that it was not just a minor twist but a fracture. My first concern was how would I continue with my shoot and I knew this is going to affect the entire team but I feel very lucky and it makes me so happy to say that the entire team has been so supportive throughout. I have continued shooting for my scenes and our humble director has been figuring out in which angle he is going to shoot my scenes and how he is going to fit me in the screen accordingly.”

It is going to be worth a watch, how director Laxman Utekar continues to shoot the scenes.
