Deepshikha Deshmukh celebrates girl power and the magic of cinema on the sets of ‘Coolie No.1’!

While the rip-roaring trailer of ‘Coolie No. 1’ continues to trend, Pooja Entertainment has dropped another fun surprise in the form of an entertaining song, ‘Teri Bhabhi’. Producer Deepshikha Deshmukh was present during the shoot that unfolded on a railway station with hundreds of dancers and the lead pair Varun Dhawan and Sara Ali Khan. But what she most loved was spending time with an inspiring group of women dancers who were dressed as coolies and held their own with remarkable energy during the long and grueling sequence.

Deepshikha has often said how she loves to see strong, independent women on her sets.

Deepshikha shared a snapshot of that memory with the caption, “Celebrating girl power and the magic of cinema on the sets of ‘Coolie No. 1.’ Such fun memories of shooting ‘Teri Bhabhi’ with these lovely women.” Recalling the great time she had during the shoot, Deepshikha added -The release of the song brought back memories of that incredibly lovely day for her. She also mentioned The energy on the sets was electric and everyone including Varun and Sara danced their heart out

Coolie No.1 will release on Amazon Prime on December 25, Produced by Pooja Entertainment, and Directed by David Dhawan.

Varun Dhawan’s true professionalism

It is always said in show biz that come what may show must go on. Take for instance the case of Varun Dhawan. For all those grooving with Varun Dhawan to the tune of “Teri Bhabhi’; here is some inside trivia.

Varun had injured his knees during the shoot but even the pain and the discomfort did not stop him from acing the signature step which everyone is loving right now. This despite the fact that the step required Varun to slide down on his knees on a rough patchy floor again and again. He was in great pain but despite choreographer Master Ganesh’s warnings, he persisted and completed the song as per the requirements. All that can not be witnessed on the screen because Varun completed the shoot with smiling face. That’s true professionalism.

It did not come easy but then magic never does. Varun is truly a rockstar.

Coolie No.1’s remake is written and directed by David Dhawan and starring Varun Dhawan and Sara Ali Khan, Coolie No.1 is a romantic comedy that tells the story of a matchmaker, Jai Kishen who upon being insulted by Rosario, a rich businessman decides to teach him a lesson by getting his daughter married to Raju, a Coolie, who poses to be a millionaire. They sense something fishy and Raju’s deceptions are discovered. In an attempt to cover it up, he cooks up a story of having a filthy rich twin. One lie leads to another and things start to go awry culminating in a comedy of errors.

Following the successful trailer launch of the upcoming Amazon Original Movie Coolie No.1, the creators of the movie today unveiled the peppy track – ‘Teri Bhabhi’ from the much awaited romantic-comedy. Sung by Javed – Mohsin, Dev Negi and Neha Kakkar, composed by Javed – Mohsin and lyrics by Danish Sabri, the melodious song features Varun Dhawan and Sara Ali Khan. The foot tapping song will give audiences a glimpse of the chemistry between the entertaining duo – Varun Dhawan and Sara Ali Khan in Coolie No. 1, which is also their first film together. An out and out dance number, ‘Teri Bhabhi’ encapsulates the fun and excitement the movie promises to offer upon its release.

Speaking of the song, Varun Dhawan said, “Bhabhi is one of my favorite track from the album! In fact there’s an interesting story behind how we discovered this song. It was Badshah who had introduced this song to me. It’s was very sweet of him. He had come to my house especially to make me hear this particular track. When Dad and I heard the song, we instantly loved it! It fits the David Dhawan School of music perfectly and Javed – Mohsin’s energy and the vibe is infectious! That’s how we found this track! I think they’ve done a fabulous job with it!”

Adding onto the Christmas cheer, Amazon Prime Video brings the World Premiere of David Dhawan’s 45^th film Coolie No. 1. Directed by David Dhawan, the Bollywood romantic comedy is produced by Vashu Bhagnani, Jackky Bhagnani & Deepshikha Deshmukh.
