Get ready for a gritty cinematic ride as Thugs of Goa, a high-octane crime thriller, is all set to release in theatres on 30th May. Produced under the banner of Sai Patil Film Factory, the film dives deep into the criminal underground of Goa with a suspense-filled plot, power-packed performances, and an intense battle of law versus lawbreakers.
Directed, written, produced by #SaiPatil, Thugs of Goa promises an edge-of-the-seat experience with its compelling storyline and gripping action.
Set in the shadowy locales of Siolim and Vagator in Goa, Thugs of Goa follows Amar Agnihotri (#SuryanshTripathi), a clever con artist working with his partners Saloni (#GayatriBansode), Neha (#RuchikaSingh), and Vicky (#ManveerSingh). Their world of scams unravels when Inspector Vijay (#SagarPabbale) blackmails Neha into spying on Rakesh Kumar (#HarshitUpadhyay), the home minister’s son, to expose black money dealings. As Neha gets caught in a dangerous mission, Amar must take on the law in a tense showdown, where betrayal runs deep, and survival is everything.
Thugs of Goa features a strong ensemble cast led by Suryansh Tripathi as con artist Amar Agnihotri, with Gayatri Bansode, Ruchika Singh, and Manveer Singh as his partners in crime. Sagar Pabbale plays the determined Inspector Vijay, while Harshit Upadhyay and Pranay Teli portray the corrupt Rakesh Kumar and the Home Minister, respectively.
The film is a creative vision of Sai Patil, who serves as the director, writer, producer, and screenplay/dialogue creator. He is joined by co-producer Yojana Patil and executive producer Milind Desai. The technical team includes Pravin Yadav as cinematographer, Keval Shah as editor, music and background score by Ravi, and costumes by Arun Kumar, bringing the film’s gritty Goan setting to life.
With its vibrant Goan backdrop and intense narrative, Thugs of Goa looks set to offer a fresh take on crime thrillers rooted in local politics, betrayal, and street-smart cons. The combination of Sai Patil’s direction, Ravi’s stirring music, and the ensemble cast’s performances makes it a film to watch out for this summer.
