Coming on the hotseat on 27th September 2022 on #SonyEntertainmentTelevision ‘s knowledge-based game show ‘#KaunBanegaCrorepatiSeason14’ will be #Kota, #Rajasthan ‘s #ShobhaKanwar. The 51-year-old is an elementary teacher in a govt. school in the Bundi village of Kota. Dressed in beautiful Rajasthani attire, #ShobhaJi would be wonderfully representing the state she comes from but also warming everyone’s heart with her stories. Moreover, she would be touching the heart of the host, Mr #AmitabhBachchan by dubbing him her ‘#Dronacharya’ and calling Kaun Banega Crorepati, her school.
Giving reason for the same, Shobha Ji would be telling Mr Bachchan, “Even though I am a teacher but my school is ‘KBC’! I am a student who has learnt everything from KBC. I got my job because of KBC and so you (Mr Bachchan) are my Dronacharya and I am your Eklavya!” Mr Bachchan would be refuting this by saying that the computer in front of them, “Gyaannath Ji” gives knowledge and not he but Shobha Ji would have an answer for that as well, “The knowledge that I absorbed because of which I secured the job, KBC was the reason. You (Mr Bachchan) are the medium, sir. I am the medium for my kids, my students between them and their books, thus, you are the medium between knowledge and me and so you are my teacher.”
After a video about Shobha Ji’s life as a teacher in her school in Bundi, she would be getting emotional. According to a source close to the set, Mr Amitabh Bachchan would commend Shobha Ji and her strive to better the lives of her students, much like a mother, “Ladies and gentlemen, in the world if anybody is put on the pedestal of God, it is “guru or maa” (teacher or mother), you are both!” Shobha Ji would be getting teary-eyed and telling Big B how her students must be missing her. She would then recount how her journey to be a teacher started sixteen years after her marriage when she would watch KBC. One day she told her husband that as they are childless, she would want to join a school. She then prepared for Rajasthan Civil Services by watching KBC and then miraculously got selected, “I had not studied from a single book, I only would watch KBC. The knowledge I had collected over the years worked like a charm for me. Thus, I attribute my career as a teacher to the show and so for KBC, I don’t only have one child but 430 children, including other children in the village! I am the mother of so many children today!” Shobha ji would be saying how she helps students, much like her own children, “because of my students, I am a teacher. I had only studied till 11th std when I joined the school. I did MA and BA through distance learning.”
Shobha ji has decided to adopt students for their financial matters and adopted two girls this year, both named Anjali. In huge moment, even host Mr Bachchan would be pledging some donation towards the betterment of the students at Shobha ji’s school. He would be reasoning it by saying that the respect Shobha ji has given to the show and the pedastal she has put the show on, has to be commended and should be applauded.
