‘Paatal Lok’ fame Ishwak Singh to play lead in Prakash Jha’s “Jannadesh”!

#IshwakSingh on leading #PrakashJha directed Janaadesh, “I am finally getting to experience his fantastic vision of storytelling.” After a superb start of the year with #PaatalLok season 2, and a mid year release with Mitti Ek Nayi Pehchaan getting a lot of praise for it’s strong story telling and performances, actor Ishwak Singh has had a very impactful year.

Adding another milestone to his roster in 2025, Ishwak is all set to team up with stalwart director Prakash Jha for an upcoming political drama , Janaadesh.

Ishwak is set to front the project , bringing his signature depth to Janaadesh. The film is now officially in works, as announced with a picture of the clap by the actor – director duo on social media.

An elated Ishwak shares, “Working with Prakash sir has always been on my wishlist. Now I am finally getting to experience his fantastic vision of storytelling! I am learning some of the best nuances of the craft with him. He is a master storyteller”.

With an actor par excellence and a director who has delivered the strongest of stories through all his films , Ishwak Singh and Prakash Jha already seem to be promising us with a powerpacked film.
