‘Dashavatar’ is creating a strong buzz across Maharashtra!

A piece of art or a film truly finds its place in people’s hearts when the common man celebrates it in their own unique way, talks about it passionately, and builds a personal bond with it. Zee Studios’ much-discussed film Dashavatar is currently experiencing just that. In Sindhudurg’s Kudal, a group of nature-loving cinema enthusiasts transformed their excitement into a remarkable gesture by inscribing the word Dashavatar—measuring a massive 40 feet—onto the region’s iconic red soil. This unique tribute has now become the talk of the town, showcasing the deep enthusiasm and emotional connection that audiences have developed with the film.

Amidst Kudal’s scenic beauty, locals expressed their excitement by carving Dashavatar into the soil. Sharing their feelings about the initiative, they said, “We have been eagerly waiting for this film, and that’s how this unique idea came to us. Since the film itself brings us closer to nature, we felt it deserved a tribute that came from the soil of nature itself.”

In Maharashtra, especially in the Konkan region, the cultural tradition of Dashavatar has always been celebrated with grandeur alongside Ganeshotsav. Paying homage to this heritage, the upcoming film Dashavatar is set to arrive as a grand multi-starrer. The stellar cast includes veteran actors #DilipPrabhavalkar, #MaheshManjrekar, Bharat Jadhav, Siddharth Menon, Abhinay Berde, and Priyadarshini Indalkar, along with Vijay Kenkre, Sunil Tawde, Ravi Kale, Lokesh Mittal, and Aarti Wadagbalkar in key roles.

Presented by Zee Studios, and produced under the banners of Ocean Film Company and Ocean Art House, Dashavatar has been written, directed, and produced by Subodh Khanolkar. The film’s dialogues and lyrics are penned by Guru Thakur, with music composed by A.V. Prafullachandra. The production team also includes Sujay Hande, Omkar Hande, Aditya Joshi, Nitin Sahasrabuddhe, Mrunal Sahasrabuddhe, Sanjay Dubey, and Vinayak Joshi, while Ajit Bhure serves as the creative producer.

The film Dashavatar is all set to release on 12th September.
