Dashavatar

A special screening of ‘Dashavatar’, was organized for Uddhav Thackeray and his family!

Though the story of Dashavatar is rooted in Konkan, its anguish belongs to the whole of Maharashtra. The film reflects on where we stand today and the dangerous direction in which we are headed. If we fail to recognize this in time, we may find ourselves on the brink of disaster. Every performance in the film is commendable, but #DilipPrabhavalkars work is nothing short of extraordinary. Young director Subodh Khanolkar has gifted Marathi cinema a truly complete film. With these words, Shiv Sena chief #UddhavThackeray praised Maharashtra’s grand cinematic offering, Dashavatar.

A special screening of the film was organized for Uddhav Thackeray and his family. Along with him, Aditya Thackeray, Tejas Thackeray, Rashmi Thackeray, MP Sanjay Raut, Shiv Sena Secretary Milind Narvekar, acclaimed singer Ajay Gogavale, actors Milind Gunaji and Rani Gunaji, and internationally renowned actress Chhaya Kadam were present. Uddhavji applauded the work of director Subodh Khanolkar and veteran actor Dilip Prabhavalkar, while also appreciating the performances of Siddharth Menon, Vijay Kenkre, Ajit Bhure, and the entire team.

“It’s been a long time since we have seen such grandeur in Marathi cinema. This magnificence, this beauty must be experienced on the big screen. Not just the people of Konkan, but audiences across Maharashtra should witness this masterpiece in theatres,” he urged.

Uddhav Thackeray also extended congratulations to Zee Studios Marathi’s Business Head Bhavesh Janvalekar, producer Sujay Hande, Subodh Khanolkar, Omkar Kate, and the entire team of Dashavatar for bringing such grandeur to Marathi cinema.
