A witch returns after 300 years in Star Pravah’s new mystical series ‘Kajalmaya’!

For the past five years, #StarPravah has been winning hearts with premium storytelling, unique concepts, and characters that feel like family. Now, Maharashtra’s favorite channel is ready to surprise its audience with a brand-new mystery drama titled Kajalmaya.

The show revolves around Parnika a stunningly beautiful witch from an ancient clan, blessed with eternal youth and mastery in dark arts. Beneath her beauty lies selfishness, cruelty, and ambition. Her only goal is to expand her lineage of witches and make the world bow at her feet. When her ruthless aspirations are challenged by Aarush, an extraordinary tale begins—this is the mystical saga of Kajalmaya. Acclaimed actor #AkshayKelkar will play Aarush Walawalkar.

Speaking about his role, Akshay Kelkar shared, “This is my first show as a lead actor with Star Pravah, and it’s a character completely outside my comfort zone. Aarush has the heart of a poet—simple, kind, and deeply attached to his family. His goodness defines him. He’s a professor of Marathi, with exceptional knowledge of the subject and a special talent for reciting poetry. It’s the first time I’m playing such a role in a mystery-based series, and I’m very excited.”
