Mahesh Manjrekar’s look from ‘Punah Shivajiraje Bhosale’ has become the center of attention!

The teaser of ‘Punah Shivajiraje Bhosale’, written and directed by #MaheshVamanManjrekar, was recently unveiled and has already piqued the audience’s curiosity. Adding to the excitement is the newly released song ‘Durge Durgat Bhari’, which has taken social media by storm — especially for Manjrekar’s striking new look in it. Known for portraying a wide range of positive and negative characters over the years, Mahesh Manjrekar will be seen as a sage for the very first time, and his transformation has become the center of attention.

In the song, Mahesh Manjrekar’s appearance as a saint is truly distinctive — with a saffron cloth wrapped around his head, multiple rudraksha necklaces, disheveled hair, a long beard, and a conch in hand. His intense expressions, fierce eyes, and commanding aura make his character stand out powerfully on screen.

Speaking about his look, Mahesh Manjrekar said, “I’ve played many kinds of roles throughout my career, but I’ve never portrayed a sage before. This look is completely different from anything I’ve done. The mysticism, strength, and spiritual depth of this character have given me an entirely new dimension as an actor. It’s going to be a very different and enriching journey for me.”
