‘Manaache Shlok’, directed by Mrinmayee Deshpande, Filmed at an Altitude of 12,500 Feet!

The teaser, trailer, and songs of ‘Manaache Shlok’, written and directed by #MrinmayeeDeshpande, have received an overwhelming response from audiences, steadily building excitement for the film. Set against the breathtaking natural backdrop of Himachal Pradesh, the film stands out for its stunning visuals and adventurous trekking sequences. Some of the key scenes were shot at an altitude of nearly 12,500 feet, making the experience both visually captivating and physically challenging.

In the trailer, Mrinmayee Deshpande, #RahulPethe, #PushkarajChirputkar, and #KaranParab are seen trekking through the mountains. While shooting these sequences, the entire team actually trekked through the terrain, carrying all the equipment and essential gear on their own shoulders. At such heights, there were no vanity vans, makeup rooms, or other facilities available, which made the filming even more demanding.

Speaking about the experience, director Mrinmayee Deshpande shared, “This journey was truly unique for all of us. Filming at such an altitude with the entire team was an immense challenge. Without the comfort of vanity vans or makeup rooms, everyone joined the trek and worked tirelessly together. Every member of the team and all the actors put in tremendous effort. We are confident that this journey will find a special place in the audience’s hearts.”

The film features a strong ensemble cast including Mrinmayee Deshpande, Rahul Pethe, Pushkaraj Chirputkar, Suvrat Joshi, Siddharth Menon, Harish Dudhade, and Karan Parab. Seasoned actors like Leena Bhagwat, Mangesh Kadam, Shubhangi Gokhale, and Uday Tikekar also play significant roles.

‘Manaache Shlok’ is slated for release on October 10. The film is written and directed by Mrinmayee Deshpande and produced by Shreyash Jadhav and Sanjay Dawra. It is presented by Starlight Box Theaters and Nitin Vaidya Productions.
