CBFC Grants an U/A 16+ Certificate to ‘Tere Ishk Mein’!

#AanandLRais ‘Tere Ishk Mein’, backed by Bhushan Kumar and featuring Dhanush and Kriti Sanon, is heading into release with strong tailwind. The film has picked up remarkable momentum with advance bookings climbing steadily. Early trends point toward a possible remarkable opening, driven by the response to its promotional material.

On the censorship front, the process was smooth. The Central Board of Film Certification did not ask for any visual cuts and left the intense romantic and action sequences untouched. Only a dialogue featuring one word was modified. With that change incorporated, the film received a U/A 16+ certificate on November 24. The certificate also confirms a runtime of 169.17 minutes, which totals 2 hours, 49 minutes and 17 seconds.

While the teaser and trailer have connected well with audiences, and AR. Rahman’s music has added to the buzz. The songs have been trending across platforms and have played a big part in pushing the film’s appeal across markets.

The film directed by Aanand L Rai and written by Himanshu Sharma and Neeraj Yadav, is an A.R. Rahman musical with lyrics by Irshad Kamil. Starring #Dhanush and #KritiSanon, the film is scheduled to release worldwide in Hindi, Tamil and Telugu on 28th November 2025.
