Indian cricketing icon Smriti Mandanna resonates with Mardaani 3, says, ‘Girls are subjected to a lot of atrocities that often go unspoken”!

Rani Mukerji’s Mardaani 3’s hard-hitting message in the trailer about saving every girl child of India, has deeply connected with many. This morning, on the release day of Mardaani 3, Indian cricketing icon Smriti Mandanna said she resonates with the theme of #Mardaani3 because girls are subjected to a lot of atrocities that often go unspoken!
Smriti took to social media to write, “A young girl’s life is priceless. Girls go through so much, see so much, we endure .. often silently. Protecting every young girl should be a matter of national priority because when society is safe for girls, they thrive, they dream, they win for themselves, for their families and for their nation.”
Smriti added, “Blown away by the trailer of Mardaani 3 and I only pray that we all come together as a nation to protect every girl, every woman because a society that doesn’t treat a girl well, isn’t a society at all. Let’s build a safe nation.. together.”

The only female-led hit franchise of India and also the only female-led cop franchise of the country, Mardaani has always been lauded for bringing to light several atrocities faced by girls and women.

This time, Rani Mukerji’s Mardaani 3 focusses on a new issue of how young girls aged 8-9 years, from low income groups, are kidnapped for a specific reason from across our country. The makers have hid the plot thus far brilliantly.

Ever since Yash Raj Films unveiled the trailer of Mardaani 3, it has become the biggest talking point from the Hindi film industry. Unanimously positive appreciation has been pouring in from all quarters for Rani Mukerji who returns to reprise her widely loved character of Shivani Shivaji Roy, a daredevil cop who risks her life to save 93 young missing girls in a race against time.

Directed by Abhiraj Minawala and produced by Aditya Chopra, Mardaani 3 is scheduled to release in theatres worldwide tomorrow. January 30, 2026. Rani Mukerji is also celebrating 30 years of her glorious career with Mardaani 3, a milestone moment that has galvanised the entire film industry to come out and celebrate her legacy.
