Do Deewane Seher Mein

‘Do Deewane Seher Mein’ actor Siddhant Chaturvedi takes a moment to reflect on his journey so far!

As Siddhant Chaturvedi gears up for his upcoming film Do Deewane Seher Mein under Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s banner, #SiddhantChaturvedi recently took a moment to reflect on his journey so far. Sharing a throwback photograph from his 2008 school farewell, the actor offered a glimpse into the formative years that shaped his resolve—long before his performances in films like Gully Boy, Gehraiyaan, Kho Gaye Hum Kahan and the much-anticipated Dhadak 2 brought him widespread recognition.

Opening up in a deeply personal note, Siddhant wrote, “2008, school farewell. never thought what life would hold 18 years later & I’m still chasing…gained some confidence on the way to chase a dream I couldn’t even dare to talk about—becoming an actor. in a class full of children wanting to be—engineer, doctor, Astronaut, I quietly hid my feelings wrapped under an answer which too loud to be shared.” He went on to trace the turning points that defined his path, from walking away from chartered accountancy to years of auditions and persistence.

Reflecting on the emotional weight of the journey, the actor added, “from quitting CA to standing in infinite queues and not giving up to working under The Bhansali sir’s banner as of today, it’s been a journey worth thanking god for…. Bohot log judte gaye iss journey mein aur bohoton ne beech raastey bharosa chorr diya… but nothing on them as the weight of my dreams is mine alone… I have made choices without fear… some called it arrogance, some called it cocky… I call it ‘Defending my ambition’.” Addressing fellow dreamers, he concluded by urging them to stay focused on what they can control and to protect their vision fiercely.

As Siddhant Chaturvedi prepares to step into a new phase of his career with Do Deewane Seher Mein, the post serves as a reflection of the grit and emotional honesty that have defined his work so far. From his breakout in Gully Boy to nuanced performances in Gehraiyaan and Kho Gaye Hum Kahan, and now Dhadak 2, his journey continues to underscore a belief that it is perseverance—not comfort—that ultimately writes history.
