‘Daadi Ki Shaadi’ Debutant Riddhima Kapoor Sahni Gets Advice from Ranbir Kapoor!

Daadi Ki Shaadi has become the talk of the town ever since the first look dropped. The film revolves around second chances and relationships. A glimpse of which we saw in the recently released song, Suno Naa Dil.

While everyone is eager to see Kapil Sharma and Neetu Kapoor in action, everyone is also excited to see #RiddhimaKapoorSahni on the big screen. The daughter of the talented Neetu Kapoor and the legendary actor, late Rishi Kapoor is making her much-awaited debut in a pivotal role as Neetu Kapoor’s daughter. She will be seen adding a unique layer to the emotional family dynamics, keeping people hooked.

Ahead of the film’s release, the actress reveals that she received an important advice from her brother, superstar Ranbir Kapoor.

She shared, “I spoke to Ranbir before starting. His biggest advice was to stay honest in front of the camera. He told me to trust my instincts and just live the character rather than perform it—and that really stayed with me.”

Produced by Rtake Studios, BeingU Studios and Shimla Talkies, the film is written and directed by Ashish R Mohan. The music is released via Warner Music India and is now available on all major streaming platforms.

Daadi Ki Shaadi arrives in cinemas on 8th May 2026.
