Star Pravah Creates Record, Launches Eight New Shows at One Go!

In the next three months, Star Pravah will premiere eight brand-new programmes, marking a bold new chapter for the channel that has ruled viewers’ hearts for more than five and a half years. The channel’s characters feel like part of the family — viewers see their mothers, daughters, brothers, fathers and mothers-in-law reflected in its serials — and that close bond explains the channel’s immense popularity. While that affection cannot be repaid, Star Pravah continues to work to enrich Marathi entertainment even further. In what may be a first for Indian television, the channel has announced not one or two but eight new shows at once.

The slate includes Patharakhin, Suna Yeti Ghara, Visaruna Naka Mala (Visaru Naka Maza — translated as “Don’t Forget Me”), Aamchya Laadkya Nayak Bai, Marathi Medium, Mi Kat Takali, Aata Hou De Dhingana 5 and Star Pravah Ganeshotsav. The cast and crew of all eight projects attended the special launch event.

#Patharakhin tells the story of two sisters, Bhagyeshree and Prajakta, who stand firmly by one another through every crisis and grief. The series explores boundless sisterly love, sacrifice and affection, and shows how their lives change after an unexpected turn. The plot builds suspense around whether their bond can survive the tests of circumstance, society and fate.

Produced by Soham Productions — the company behind hit family dramas such as Gharo Ghari Mati Chi Chul — the show stars Prajakta Gaikwad, Gauri Ingawale, Shubhankar Tawde, Aashay Kulkarni, Aditi Deshpande, Mitali Jagtap, Shakuntala Nare, Ramesh Wani and Deepti Lele. Vighnesh Kamble directs.

#SunaYetiGhara explores the delicate art of nurturing relationships — beautiful but often difficult. Each new relationship brings fresh hopes, expectations and dreams. This series weaves the complex emotional ties that bind two families and depicts the conflicts and changes that arise when new relationships take shape. The cast includes veteran actors Ashok Shinde, Meghana Vaidya, Deepa Parab, Sharmistha Raut, Satyajit Salokhe, Shubham Pade, Siddhva Salokhe and Manoj Kolhatkar.

#VisaruNakaTuMala (Don’t Forget Me) is a passionate love story about a hero willing to go to any lengths for love and a heroine who carries true love forward along with her dreams. The show features Tanvi Mundale, Shalv Kinjvadekar, Shrija Prabhudesai, Sharvani Pillai, Rajendra Shisatkar and Siddharth Khirid. Writer-producer Sachin Darekar penned the story.

The acclaimed writer-director duo Chinmay Mandlekar and Mandar Devsthali — known for several quality and hit serials — now bring Marathi Medium, a drama that underscores Marathi identity and pride. Several respected actors will appear in the series.

#AamchyaLaadkyaNayakBai is created by filmmakers and writers who have given many Marathi films and grounded, rural serials. The show follows an ordinary schoolteacher, her family and her daughters. Renowned actress Aishwarya Narkar will appear in this series.

For fans of supernatural, mysterious and dramatic tales, Star Pravah presents #MiKatTakali — a show produced by Santosh Aayachit that promises miracles, mystery and high drama.

No matter how soft, fiery or tender roles on serials may be, there’s one place where masks fall away and every performer’s playful side comes out: #AataHouDeDhingana. This entertainment programme returns with five times the fun in Season 5 — bigger, livelier and more mischievous than ever.

Star Pravah is also known for its grand festival celebrations. This year the channel will once again present its exuberant Ganeshotsav special — Star Pravah #Ganeshotsav 2026 — celebrating the many joyful moments of the beloved festival.

Keep watching your favourite Star Pravah channel and continue to share the same love and support.
