Music and songs have always played a significant role in Marathi cinema. This is one of the reasons why Marathi films with melodious music and meaningful songs continue to win the hearts of audiences. The upcoming Marathi film “Live” is also enriched with engaging music and songs. Over the past few years, the trend of item songs has gained popularity in Marathi cinema, and “Live” will feature a unique modern item song with a Lavani flavor. Since the film’s title does not reveal much about its storyline, curiosity surrounding “Live” has been steadily growing. Adding to the excitement is the inclusion of a special dance number featuring popular dancer Gautami Patil.

Producer Sumit Pandey is producing “Live” under the banner of Riddhi Biddhi Visions. Chhabi Asim Haldar presents the film, while Sanjeev Rai serves as its writer and director. The shooting of “Live” commenced recently, and a major song from the film has just been filmed. This song is a contemporary item number infused with the essence of traditional Lavani. The shoot took place at Feature Studio in Goregaon. The biggest highlight of the song is that it has been picturized on renowned dancer Gautami Patil. Penned by lyricist Ashpak FH Shaikh, the song begins with the catchy phrase, “Lagla Thaska 440 Cha Zhatka…” The track is sung by playback singer Khushboo Jain and composed by music director Aman Shlok.

The film revolves around a woman’s struggle for justice and her rights, making it an inspiring story for many. The narrative explores several social issues and reflects various realities of contemporary society. Speaking about the song, director Sanjeev Rai said that “Lagla Thaska 440 Cha Zhatka…” has not been included merely as an item song. According to him, the song is an essential part of the story and emerges at a crucial dramatic turning point, seamlessly blending with the narrative. He further added that Gautami Patil was chosen for this important song because she is one of the most popular and influential dancers of the present generation, and her energetic performance has brought tremendous vibrancy to the sequence.

The film, which features dialogues written by Poonam Vibhute, stars Milind Gunaji, Anant Jog, Nishigandha Wad, Rupali Jadhav, Hiten Tejwani, Sagar Kale, Anil Nagarath, Namrata Jadhav, Vinay Rajput, and several others in prominent roles.
