Taking to their respective social platforms, the actors shared compelling posts urging citizens to inspect their daily meals more critically and question the alarming rise of pesticide contamination and chemical adulteration in our food supply. Kajal questioned whether our everyday meals are truly safe, while Shreyas emphasized the critical need for consumers to demand transparent agricultural standards.

The challenge encourages individuals to post pictures of their meals and nominate friends and family members to do the same, creating a chain of awareness around food safety. The makers of The India Story continue to build momentum ahead of the film’s release. Presented by Zee Studios in association with MIG Production & Studios, the film is directed by Chettan DK and written and produced by Sagar B. Shinde. Slated for a worldwide theatrical release on July 24, 2026, the film will release in Hindi, Telugu, and Tamil. The project is backed by co-producers Swati Vinayak Saindane, Anita Jadhav, Vinayak Saindane, Kalpesh Shah, Devyani Khorate, and Prem Joshi. The technical team includes cinematographer Nishant Bhagwat, music composer Mangesh Dhakde, editor Ashish Mhatre, lyricist Shakeel Azami, and sound designer Anmol Bhave.
