Arijit Singh Reunites with Vishesh Films for ‘Yeh Awarapan’, Composed by Amaal Mallik and Written by Rashmi Virag for ‘Awarapan 2’!

Following the tremendous success of ‘Ve Junoon’—which crossed 30 million YouTube views, hit #2 on YouTube Trending, and earned a spot on Spotify India’s Top 100—Vishesh Films and Sony Music India have unveiled the next major track from Awarapan 2: ‘Yeh Awarapan’. Voiced by Arijit Singh, composed by Amaal Mallik, and penned by Rashmi Virag, the soul-stirring song captures the deep emotions of love, longing, and redemption that define the Awarapan universe, delivering a melody that leaves a lasting impact.

In Yeh Awarapan, Emraan Hashmi wears intensity like a second skin; raw, brooding, and unmistakably emotional. It’s the kind of song that doesn’t try too hard to move you; it just does. Arijit’s voice, Amaal’s composition and Rashmi-Virag’s words sit together so effortlessly, it’s hard to imagine one without the other on this track. Yeh Awarapan isn’t just a song for the film, it feels like it was always meant to exist within Shivam Pandit’s world.

For Vishesh Bhatt, this one’s personal too. Arijit’s very first Hindi film song came from a Vishesh Films production, and years later, the association is still going strong, this time with a song that carries the same emotion, depth and timelessness that’s defined their journey together.

The title track of Awarapan 2 is out now on all streaming platforms via Sony Music India. Vishesh Films and Mukesh Bhatt present Awarapan 2, directed by Nitin Kakkar, written by Bilal Siddiqi and produced by Vishesh Bhatt. The film stars Emraan Hashmi, Disha Patani, Shabana Azmi, Suvinder Vicky, Vijayant Kohli, Atul Kumar and Aniruddh Rawal.
