Hiten Tejwani, who has become a household name through television and has won immense love from audiences for the diverse characters he has portrayed, is now set to make his debut in Marathi cinema. The upcoming Marathi film ‘Live’ marks Hiten Tejwani’s entry into the Marathi film industry. The actor will be seen in a never-before-seen avatar, with a character that is significantly different from the roles he has played throughout his career.

Produced by Sumit Pandey under the banner of Riddhi Biddi Visions, ‘Live’ is presented by Chhabi Asim Halder and written and directed by Sanjeev Rai. Hiten Tejwani is set to be one of the major attractions of the film. He has also appeared in notable films such as ‘Krishna Cottage’, ‘Joggers’ Park’, ‘Anwar’, ‘Ankahee’ and ‘Mano Ya Na Mano’. Director Sanjeev Rai has worked with Hiten on the web series ‘Fatima’, which streamed on Reliance Entertainment, as well as in a ‘Tesla Tuki’ advertisement.

With ‘Live’, Hiten will be seen in a Marathi film for the first time. He plays a character named Alam in the film. Speaking about ‘LIive, Hiten said, “I am extremely excited as ‘Live’ is my first Marathi film. I am having a great time working with my Marathi co-stars. The shooting of ‘Live’ has recently been completed. When the film releases, I am sure it will create a huge impact. Since this is my first Marathi film, I request the audience to watch my work and share their feedback. I hope their response encourages me to work in more Marathi films in the future.”

He further added, “I would also like the audience to tell me how they liked the film because ‘Live’ is based on incidents from today’s times. We often do not realise what is happening around us and what impact it has. The film explores such events and issues. I cannot reveal much about ‘Live’ at this stage, but I would urge everyone to watch and enjoy the film.”

The film features an ensemble cast including Milind Gunaji, Anant Jog, Nishigandha Wad, Rupali Jadhav, Hiten Tejwani, Sagar Kale, Anil Nagarath, Namrata Jadhav and Vinay Rajput, among others.

‘Live’ revolves around an ambitious young woman and presents an inspiring story of her struggle and fight for justice and her rights. Through the protagonist’s journey, the film sheds light on several important social issues. It also explores sensitive and emotionally stirring incidents unfolding in contemporary society.

The dialogues have been written by director Sanjeev Rai and Poonam Vibhute. The songs penned by Mahaling Kanthale have been composed by Dinesh Arjuna and Aman Shlok. The film’s cinematography is handled by DOP Gopi, while Saifuddin Sheikh has handled the art direction.

With its focus on contemporary social realities and an ensemble cast led by Hiten Tejwani in a completely different avatar, Live is set to bring a thought-provoking story to Marathi audiences.
