Drishyam 3 Dominates Social Media Conversations Ahead of Its Theatrical Release

While most movies build hype through trailers, Drishyam 3 has audiences attempting to unravel its plot months before any footage has been released.

Beyond standard fan excitement, a central question is driving the conversation: how will Vijay shield his family from danger this time around? The October 2 release date has only made the buzz bigger. The date is already closely linked to the Drishyam story, and the makers have even called it “Drishyam Day.” For fans, October 2 has started feeling less like a normal release date and more like an annual event. There are jokes about the entire internet going into detective mode, and even memes about Gandhi ji waiting to see what Vijay does next.

The theories are getting more wild by the day. Fans are debating whether Vijay will finally get caught, whether the police can actually crack his plan, and whether someone new could enter the story and give him a real challenge.
The fan theories have also moved beyond the police. Some are imagining a new investigator, a journalist or even a true-crime creator reopening the old case.

The makers have said that changes have been made to the story and screenplay for the Hindi audience, while Shriya Saran has also said the Hindi version is quite different. So even viewers who know the Malayalam story are leaving room for a surprise.

At this point, the biggest mystery of the year may not be how the Avengers survive Doomsday. It may simply be how Vijay Salgaonkar plans to survive everyone coming after him in Drishyam 3.
