Popular television star Shivangi Joshi has officially put an end to the intense speculation surrounding her rumored entry into Bigg Boss 20. Setting the record straight, the actress posted on her Instagram Stories to inform fans that she will not be appearing in the new season, while firmly debunking a viral clip that purported to confirm her casting.

“It has come to my attention that a video circulating on social media falsely claims to confirm my participation in Bigg Boss 20. I would like to clarify that I am NOT participating in Bigg Boss 20, and the video is completely fake,” Shivangi stated.

The clarification comes amid growing speculation around the contestant lineup for Bigg Boss 20, with Shivangi’s name repeatedly featuring across social media posts and fan discussions. Some circulating posts had even presented her as the first confirmed contestant, despite there being no official confirmation from the actor or the show’s makers. (Instagram)

Shivangi’s clarification now puts an end to the speculation, with the actor making it clear that the viral video being circulated as confirmation of her participation has no basis.

The rumours come shortly after Shivangi’s stint on Lock Upp 2, where she emerged as one of the most talked-about contestants of the season. Her journey on the reality show generated considerable discussion online, including controversies surrounding her statements and her equation with fellow contestant Harshad Chopda.
