“I Never Recommend Stones”: Astrologer Ajit V Khawad Breaks Silence On Gemstone Remedies And Astrology Ethics!

Astrologer Ajit V Khawad, who has been practicing Vastu since 1999 alongside traditional astrology, has taken a bold stand on one of the most commercialized aspects of his field: gemstone remedies. Despite coming from a background in the jewelry trade, Khawad has built his consultation practice on a strict principle—refusing to profit from gemstone recommendations.

“My aim is to earn blessings with money. I never recommend stones to anyone. Even if I recommend someone, which very rarely happens, I don’t tell them to buy from me. I don’t go around recommending people to wear stones,” he revealed.

Explaining the rationale behind his stance, Khawad compared gemstones to long-term medical treatments that can carry unintended consequences if left unmonitored.

“Stone is like a medicine. You have to take it for a long time. Once a person starts wearing it, they keep wearing it, and that’s when the side effects start. They don’t understand why this is happening to them. It was good before, but now it’s getting worse. That is why I never recommend them,” he explained.

Recalling a specific instance where his principles were put to the test, Khawad shared how he turned down a lucrative sale in favor of honest guidance. A client had reached out directly requesting a specific high-value gemstone on the recommendation of another astrologer.

“He called me and said that I want this stone because one of my friends who was an astrologer recommended my name. He sent me his horoscope, but after checking, I told him that his time was going very well and he didn’t need to wear any stone,” Khawad recalled.

Acknowledging the financial loss behind that transparency, he added: “If he would have taken that ₹2 lakh stone from me, I would have made 2 to 5 percent, but I told him that he didn’t need it. He was very happy.”

By prioritizing ethical practice and genuine client welfare over commercial gain, Ajit V Khawad continues to advocate for a clean, non-fear-based approach to astrology and remedies.
