Mitrata

Amit Trivedi Elevates the Spirit of Camaraderie with ‘Mitrata Anthem’ from Manasi Parekh and Parthiv Gohil’s ‘Mitrata’!

Following the initial glimpse into its vibrant universe via the recently released teaser, National Award-winning actor-producer Manasi Parekh and Parthiv Gohil’s banner, Soul Sutra, have dropped the first track from their upcoming venture Mitrata. Starring Viraj Ghelani, Deep Vaidya, Vishal Parekh, and Vishwaa Joshi, the film places friendship at the core of its narrative. Building on the chaotic energy and warmth showcased in the teaser, the newly released ‘Mitrata Anthem’ captures the essence of life’s closest bonds through a high-octane musical celebration.

If the teaser introduced audiences to the madness, camaraderie and spirit of ‘Mitrata’, the ‘Mitrata Anthem’ takes that celebration a step further, bringing the film’s central emotion to life through music.

Friendship has a language of its own. The inside jokes, the madness, the fights, the countless memories and the certainty that no matter what happens, your people will always have your back. Capturing exactly this spirit is Mitrata Anthem, the first song from ‘Mitrata’, a film that puts friendship at the very heart of its story.

Directed by Oneel Karnik, ‘Mitrata’ celebrates the many shades of friendship and everything that comes with it, calling it ‘Friendship Ni Love Story’.

Sung by the much-loved Amit Trivedi, Mitrata Anthem brings together the energy, warmth and infectious spirit that defines the world of ‘Mitrata’. The song is composed by Parthiv Shah with lyrics by Joy Mehta & Divyesh Mungra.

Talking about the song, Viraj Ghelani says, “Mitrata Anthem feels incredibly close to the essence of the film. We’ve all had those friends with whom you can be your most ridiculous self, fight over the smallest things and still know that they’ll be there when it really matters. The song captures that feeling beautifully. For me, it brings back so many memories of friendships that have shaped who I am, and I think audiences will find a little bit of their own friendship gang in it too.”

Manasi Parekh, Producer, Soul Sutra, says, “Friends are our chosen family, and ‘mitrata’ is a celebration of that bond. The film was born from our belief that friendship deserves to be celebrated in all its beautiful, messy and chaotic forms. The anthem captures exactly that emotion. It is warm, energetic and deeply rooted in the relationships that make life special. As producers, it is incredibly exciting to finally share the first musical glimpse of a film that is so close to our hearts.”

Parthiv Gohil, Singer and Producer, Soul Sutra, adds, “‘Mitrata Anthem’ is all about that crazy yaari we’ve all experienced. The kind where there’s endless masti, stupid fights, inside jokes and countless memories, but you know your friends will always have your back. When Amit (Trivedi) heard the song, he immediately agreed to sing it, which was incredibly special for us. Considering his busy schedule, it was really kind of him to make the time for the song. He has brought a great energy to it, and I’m really happy with how the song has come together.”

Director Oneel Karnik shares, “Mitrata isn’t just a story about friends, it is a shared journey that serves as the heartbeat of the entire film. The “mitrata anthem” carried an immense responsibility because it had to instantly capture what it means to be young, wild, and unconditionally there for one another. It celebrates the beautiful reality of the chosen family, and we wanted the music to feel just as pure, joyful, and effortless as friendship itself.”

Produced by Manasi Parekh and Parthiv Gohil under their banner Soul Sutra, ‘Mitrata’ promises a heartfelt and entertaining celebration of friendship, with a story that finds humour, emotion and loyalty in the relationships we hold closest. The film is slated to release in theatres on 25th September 2026.
