Netflix’s The Great Indian Kapil Show Season 5 Kicks Off the ‘Hasi Ka Tyo-ha-ha-har’ with the Stars of Drishyam: The Conclusion!

Netflix’s acclaimed comedy title The Great Indian Kapil Show returns for its fifth season this festive period, promising a new run of episodes packed with celebrity interactions, unfiltered banter, and high-energy comedy.

The first episode of Season 5 will air on September 26 at 8:00PM, with the cast of Drishyam: The Conclusion – Ajay Devgn, Shriya Saran, Ishita Dutta, Mrunal Jadhav and Jaideep Ahlawat, along with director Abhishek Pathak.

While the cast gets candid about one of Indian cinema’s most loved thriller franchises returning with its final chapter, Jaideep Ahlawat finds himself at the centre of a rather unexpected full-circle moment. Making his entry into the concluding chapter of the franchise, Jaideep revealed that his association with Ajay Devgn goes all the way back to his very first film, Aakrosh.

As The Great Indian Kapil Show Season 5 kicks off its ‘Hasi Ka Tyo-ha-ha-har’ on September 26, the season opener is packed with mazedaar moments, from Jaideep Ahlawat shaking a leg with Sona and Mona 2.0- the revived Krushna-Kiku duo, to Sunil Grover’s hilarious Ajay Devgn mimicry adding to the madness. Ajay’s sharp one-liners even got an appreciation from Navjot Singh Sidhu who shared, “Bolta nahi, par jab bolta hai jaandaar, wazandaar.”

The season is set to be packed with laughter and an exciting line-up of special guests, from the cast of Vvan, Tamannaah Bhatia, Sidharth Malhotra, Shweta Tiwari, Anup Soni and Maniesh Paul, to Zakir Khan, Pankaj Tripathi and cricketing legends Ravi Shastri and Sunil Gavaskar, who will all join Kapil Sharma on the show.
