Vishal Chaturvedi’s ‘Hanuman Ansh’ Soars Past ₹400 Crore Worldwide, Extending Its Record-Breaking Box-Office Streak

Writer-director Vishal Chaturvedi’s #HanumanAnsh is showing no signs of cooling off at the box office, maintaining a remarkable theatrical run even after seven full weeks on the big screen. Having already cemented its spot as one of the most profitable and celebrated Indian releases in recent times, the devotional spectacle posted another solid weekend during its eighth week, officially breaching the prestigious ₹400 crore milestone globally.

The film has recorded ₹307 crore in India, while its worldwide collection has crossed ₹400 crore, marking another major milestone in its theatrical journey. Under Vishal Chaturvedi’s direction, Hanuman Ansh has managed to sustain its theatrical momentum well beyond its initial run, connecting with audiences through its devotional subject and cinematic storytelling. The film’s continued performance has now taken it into the list of the top 50 highest-grossing Indian films of all time.

On Sunday, Hanuman Ansh surpassed the collections of Krrish 3, which had earned around ₹393 crore, and Chennai Express, with around ₹392 crore, before crossing the significant ₹400 crore worldwide mark. It subsequently went past the lifetime collections of 3 Idiots at approximately ₹400 crore and Kantara at around ₹401 crore.

The achievement marks another significant milestone for Vishal Chaturvedi, whose vision as a writer-director has translated into a film with remarkable staying power at the box office. Rather than witnessing the usual decline after several weeks, Hanuman Ansh continues to attract audiences in its eighth weekend, further strengthening its theatrical run.

With the film continuing to maintain momentum, Hanuman Ansh is now heading towards the ₹450 crore worldwide milestone. If the current theatrical run continues, it could surpass the lifetime collections of several other successful films, including Happy New Year, Vikram and Andhadhun.
