“People’s Opinions of You Do Not Define Your Reality”: Krishna Shroff on Tuning Out Outside Noise!

Krishna Shroff has consistently refused to let public perception shape her life choices. From her path in fitness and entrepreneurship to forging an identity independent of her famous family, she has always moved strictly on her own terms. For her, staying grounded boils down to having a strong enough sense of self that external judgments fail to leave a mark.

“First of all, I have trained myself to understand that people’s opinions of you, does not make it the reality of you. So, if you’re so sure in yourself, so confident and secure in yourself, nothing can shake that. You have your belief of who you are and you trust in yourself,” she explained.

That sense of self-assurance, however, is less about being unaffected by criticism and more about understanding where it belongs. In a world where public figures are constantly subjected to opinions, assumptions and scrutiny, Krishna believes there is a clear distinction between how someone is perceived and who they actually are. Once that distinction is understood, outside noise begins to carry far less weight.

“So whatever that third person thinks of me is not going to change that because I know who I am,” she added.

It is this clarity that has allowed Krishna to navigate her journey without constantly responding to every perception surrounding her. Rather than attempting to control how she is viewed, she has focused on building a life and career that feel authentic to her. Her approach reflects a larger idea of self-belief: confidence is not necessarily about having everyone’s approval, but about being secure enough in your own understanding of yourself.

For Krishna, knowing who she is becomes the foundation. Everything else, including the opinions that come with being in the public eye, remains secondary.
