Bhargavi Chirmule Makes a Comeback on Star Pravah After Six Years with ‘Marathi Medium’!

Star Pravah’s upcoming serial Marathi Medium has already created considerable excitement among viewers. The show will mark popular actress Bhargavi Chirmule’s return to Star Pravah after six years. Bhargavi will be seen playing a negative character named Vishakha Shukre.

Vishakha is a strong-minded woman who views the world around her through a distinctly different lens. She comes from a prominent business family. Although her husband is well-mannered, she realised long ago that he lacks drive and capability. Determined that her son should not grow up to be like his father, she has left no stone unturned in his upbringing.

Vishakha wants everything to be perfect. She has an aversion to anything that is not branded, and she cannot tolerate uncleanliness. When it comes to table manners and etiquette, she could effortlessly write a rulebook. She firmly believes that “everything foreign is better,” and therefore attaches little importance to old customs and traditions.

Speaking about her role, #BhargaviChirmule said, “Reuniting with Star Pravah after six years is a very joyful moment for me. Star Pravah consistently explores diverse subjects through its serials. The story of *Marathi Medium* and the character of Vishakha Shukre are very different for me. I have not played many negative roles so far, which is why I am enjoying portraying this character. Vishakha has her own way of thinking and a unique perspective on everything. Through this character, audiences will get to see a new side of me.”
