Aamchya Veli Asa Nhavta

Bridging the Generation Gap with Beats: High-Energy Rap Song ‘Aamchya Veli As Nhavtam’ from the Marathi Film Aadi Anant Unveiled!

“In our days, it wasn’t like this!”—a phrase familiar to almost every household. From today’s youth culture, evolving lifestyle, and fresh perspectives to older generations holding onto traditional viewpoints, the clash of ideas creates what we know as the generation gap. Capturing this exact dynamic through an infectious, high-energy track, the rap song ‘Aamchya Veli Asa Nhavta’ from the upcoming Marathi film Aadi Anant is turning heads everywhere. Packed with clever lyrics, punchy beats, and a lively rhythm, the song offers a thoroughly entertaining musical take on the ideological differences between two generations.

While younger generations often view older habits as outdated, elders frequently struggle to adapt to changing youth mindsets. From smartphones and fashion choices to everyday lifestyles and thought processes, this divide is visible everywhere. However, the humor hidden within these daily clashes and the deep affection underlying family bonds come alive in this rap track. Penned by Sankarshan Karhade and Sujay Jadhav, the rap is fueled by Vishwajeet Joshi’s energetic vocals and enriched by Avinash-Wishwajeet’s catchy composition.

Director Mahesh Limaye shares, “The generation gap is a universal theme experienced in every home. Even when two generations think differently, their underlying bond and love remain steadfast. ‘Aamchya Veli Asa Nhavta’ explores this theme in a fun, relatable way that audiences are sure to love.”

Actor-writer Sankarshan Karhade adds, “We have all heard the phrase ‘Aamchya Veli Asa Nhavta’. Bringing the humor of generational differences into a rap format created a unique vibe through the words. Viewers will definitely appreciate the playfulness and the message behind this song.”

Composers Avinash-Wishwajeet mention, “Blending a catchy rap beat with the relatable theme of the generation gap was a special experience. We wanted to infuse the track with high energy and a fresh musical flavor that appeals directly to today’s youth.”
