JD Majethia Takes AI Route with ‘Tulsi Hai Na’ Starring Shubhangi Atre After ‘Chumbak’ Success!

Created by Jamnadas (JD) Majethia, produced by Jamnadas Majethia (JD) and Aatish kapadia under the banner of Hats Off Productions, the first-of-its-kind hybrid-format AI series will premiere on the banner’s YouTube channel on 7 November

Building on the overwhelming response to Chumbak, veteran creator-producer JD Majethia is diving into AI-powered entertainment with his latest show, Tulsi Hai Na. Blending human performances and authentic voice talent with cutting-edge artificial intelligence, the innovative series stars popular television actor Shubhangi Atre in the titular role of Tulsi.

Speaking about the series, JD Majethia said, “As creators we have always believed in evolving with time. Following Chumbak, we wanted to experiment with what technology can offer to storytelling. With Tulsi Hai Na, we have created a hybrid format where technology expands the world without taking away from the emotional core. Having Shubhangi lead this makes it even more special.”

Actor Shubhangi Atre added, “Reuniting with Jamnadas (JD) Majethia Sir is always special. Having worked together before and coming back for a project as unique as Tulsi Hai Na makes this collaboration even more exciting. As an actor, we are always looking for opportunities to explore something new, and this project gave me the chance to be part of a storytelling format that is quite different from what we are used to. Premiering on 7 November, the series marks Hats Off Productions’ continued push to experiment with formats that offer audiences something different this Diwali.
