A New Poster of ‘Ashtapadi’, featuring Santosh Juvekar and Mayuri Kapadne, Unveiled!
The release date for the upcoming Marathi film ‘Ashtapadi’ has been officially announced. A captivating new poster of the film has also been unveiled. ‘Ashtapadi’ is all set to hit theatres on May 30. With its unique title, renowned cast, creative direction, meaningful storyline and high-quality production, the film has been a topic of discussion in the film industry since its inception.
Produced under the banners of Mahashree Production and Yuvraj Cine Creation, Ashtapadi is helmed by producers #UttkarshJain and #MahendraPatil. Uttkarsh Jain has also directed the film. The story, screenplay, and dialogues have been written by Mahendra Patil, who also serves as the creative director of the film. The newly released poster features a wedding mandap in the background, showcasing both the lead and supporting cast.
While everyone is familiar with “Saptapadi” (seven sacred vows in Hindu marriage), the concept of ‘Ashtapadi’ has piqued curiosity. Addressing this intrigue, Uttkarsh Jain mentioned that ‘Ashtapadi’ presents a story never before seen on screen. In Indian culture, marriage is a sacred institution that unites not just two individuals but also two families. Whether the film comments on this institution or explores something more will be revealed upon its release. Jain also emphasized the impressive performances delivered by the entire cast. Audiences will see a completely new side of actor #SantoshJuvekar, and his chemistry with co-star #MayuriKapadne is expected to be a highlight.

The songs penned by lyricists Ganesh Cheulkar and Prashant Jamdar are composed by Milind More, who has also scored the background music. Dhanraj Wagh is the cinematographer, with Nilesh Rasal handling art direction. Atul Shidhaye has managed makeup, and Anjali Khobrekar and Swapna Raut have done the costume design. The choreography is directed by Digvijay Joshi. Rahul Patil and Nandu Acharekar are the associate directors, and Ajay Khade is the executive producer.
