A Voice from the Hills, Neeraj Upreti, emerging as a singer with depth, sincerity, and promise!
Uttarakhand | Ranikhet
From the quiet lanes of Billekh village in Ranikhet, Uttarakhand, to the growing landscape of Indian independent music, #NeerajUpreti is emerging as a singer with depth, sincerity, and promise. Born on 30 January 2000, Neeraj’s musical journey reflects the spirit of the mountains—calm, emotional, and deeply rooted.
Neeraj stepped into the spotlight with the release of his song “Intezar”, composed by Shobayy and written by lyricist Amit Bisht. Released under Panorama Music, the song received appreciation for its soulful composition and Neeraj’s expressive vocal delivery, helping him connect with listeners across digital platforms.
Continuing his artistic growth, Neeraj also lent his voice to “Royi Zameen”, a song that further showcased his ability to convey emotion through music. With each project, he has shown a commitment to meaningful storytelling and musical honesty rather than chasing trends.
Currently, Neeraj Upreti is working on an upcoming EP, which marks a significant milestone in his career. The first track from the EP, “Sajna”, is expected to release in the coming months and is already creating anticipation among music lovers. The EP is said to explore themes of love, longing, and human emotion, staying true to Neeraj’s musical sensibilities.
As an artist rooted in Uttarakhand’s cultural richness, Neeraj Upreti represents a new wave of talent coming from India’s smaller towns—artists who let their music speak for itself. With new releases on the horizon, his journey is one to watch in the evolving independent music space.
