As a casting director, associate filmmaker, and founder of Saify Casting Company, his contributions to high-profile Bollywood productions have quickly earned him recognition as a rising force in Indian cinema.

Born on November 14 in Narmadapuram, Madhya Pradesh, Al Akmar Saify moved to Mumbai with a focused ambition: to shape stories by helping bring the right talent to screen. After completing his early education at New Orchid English High School, he entered the industry without backing armed only with passion, discipline, and a deep understanding of performance dynamics.

His early breakthrough came with the feature film “M A PASS Sarkari Naukri” (2022), where he worked as casting director. The project showcased his ability to identify fresh, natural talent and match it effectively with narrative needs.

That led to one of his most prominent career moments collaborating with Anil Kapoor Film Company on two major productions

“Crew” (starring Kareena Kapoor, Tabu, Kriti Sanon)

“Thank You for Coming” (featuring Bhumi Pednekar and ensemble cast)

For both films, Saify and his team were responsible for casting primary characters, cameo roles, and featured artists a vital contribution that shaped the films’ authenticity and ensemble strength.

Beyond casting, Al Akmar Saify has steadily expanded his footprint in direction and filmmaking

He directed the socially driven short film Lesson in Honor

Served as Assistant and Second Unit Director on the indie project “The Butterflies”

Worked as Associate Director and Screenplay Contributor for the popular music video “Ab Kise Barbaad Karoge” featuring Asim Riaz and Sandeepa Dhar

Through his company, Saify Casting Company, he continues to discover and promote new faces across film, OTT, and music content. With a reputation for professionalism, artistic instinct, and talent strategy, Saify has become a go-to collaborator for filmmakers seeking realism, diversity, and precision in casting.
