Artist’s and Technician’s Mothers Launch the Trailer of ‘Well Done Aai’!

The upcoming Marathi family entertainer ‘Well Done Aai’, featuring the ever-popular comedy queen #VishakhaSubhedar, has been in the limelight since its first announcement. Known for her impeccable comic timing and warmth, Vishakha steps into a heartfelt role in this film. After a well-received teaser, the much-talked-about trailer has now been unveiled — charming audiences with its mix of humor, emotion, and curiosity. The film is slated for release across Maharashtra on October 31.

What made the trailer launch truly special was its emotional theme — the event was graced by the mothers of the cast and crew, making it a tribute to mothers around the world. Produced by Sudhir Patil under the Deepali Productions banner, ‘Well Done Aai’ is written and directed by #ShankarArchanaBapuDhulgude, with Sandeep Gachhande and Shankar Dhulgude co-writing the story, screenplay, and dialogues.

The trailer opens on a light, humorous note when the son asks his mother, “Don’t you think I should get married?” To which she lovingly agrees, setting the story in motion. However, her journey to see her son happily married takes a series of comic turns as she faces opposition from her husband Shantaram Mane. The film follows this determined mother as she juggles challenges, plans strategies, and works her way around family chaos — all to fulfill her son’s dream of marriage. Whether her efforts succeed remains the film’s big question.

Adding to the fun is the delightful banter and conflict between the groom’s and bride’s fathers — a highlight that promises laughter and drama in equal measure. To mend fences and ensure a happy ending, the mother comes up with a clever plan — one that audiences will have to watch unfold on screen.

Director Shankar Dhulgude shared, “The trailer captures the true essence of ‘Well Done Aai’. It blends humor and emotion with engaging storytelling, strong performances, and crisp dialogues. While many films have explored wedding themes, this one stands apart for its unique perspective and lighthearted take on family relationships.”

The film boasts an ensemble cast including Vishakha Subhedar, Vijay Nikam, Jaywant Wadkar, Ayush Patil, Simran Khedkar, Beena Siddharth, Tanvi Dhuri, and Vipul Khandale. The songs, penned by Sandeep Gachhande, are set to music by Nishad Golambre, with background score by Agnel Roman and editing by Nilesh Gawand. The production team includes Kafil Ansari (Production Head), Manas Redkar (Associate Director), and Rajyapal Singh (Executive Producer), with distribution by Cinepolis.

Behind the visuals are Devendra Tawde (Art Direction), Ranjit Sahu (Cinematography), Mayuri Bastawdekar (Hairstyling), Chini Chetan (Choreography), Madhav Mhapanakar (Make-up), and Pratibha Gaikwad (Costume Design). ‘Well Done Aai’ promises to deliver a wholesome, heartwarming story celebrating mothers, family bonds, and the laughter that ties them all together.
