As ‘Pushpa 2: The Rule’ Gears Up for Japan Release, Allu Arjun Lands in Tokyo!

A role that is already known worldwide and a film that enjoyed a historic box-office run is now set to be released in Japan as Pushpa Kunrin on January 16th. Ahead of the film’s release, Allu Arjun landed in Tokyo, Japan, accompanied by his wife Allu Sneha Reddy, son Allu Ayaan, and daughter Allu Arha.

Distributors Geek Pictures and Shochiku have partnered with Mythri Movie Makers and Sukumar Writings to bring the Pushpa phenomenon to Japanese theaters under the title Pushpa Kunrin. The film is set for a massive release across nearly 250 screens in Japan. With Japanese audiences consistently embracing some of Indian cinema’s biggest blockbusters, the makers are highly confident that Pushpa 2: The Rule will strike a strong chord and enjoy a successful run in the country.

Allu Arjun set new benchmarks with Pushpa 2: The Rule, winning hearts and rewriting box office records with ₹800 crore in Hindi and nearly ₹1800 crore worldwide. Talking about his upcoming work, Allu Arjun is collaborating with acclaimed filmmaker Atlee on a tentatively titled project, AA22XA6. Billed as an action-thiller, the film will also star Deepika Padukone.
