CM Devendra Fadnavis Unveils the Poster of Marathi Film ‘Aranya’!
Maharashtra Chief Minister #DevendraFadnavis recently unveiled the poster of the upcoming Marathi film Aranya. Written and directed by #AmolDigambarKarambe, the film promises to bring a powerful narrative to the screen, highlighting pressing social realities. Aranya is set to release in theatres on September 19.
Set against the backdrop of an ordinary family, the film tells the moving story of a father who is a Naxalite, and his tender relationship with his young daughter. It sheds light on the human side of a man caught in a world of violence, while exploring his emotional bond with his child.
Produced under the banners of S.S. Studio and Expo Present, the film is backed by Sharad Patil and Anjali Patil. Popular television actor Hardik Joshi, known for his role in the hit series Tujhyat Jeev Rangla, plays the lead. He is joined by Hrutika Patil, Veena Jagtap, Vijay Nikam, Suresh Vishwakarma, Amol Khapre, and Chetan Chawda in pivotal roles. The film’s music, deeply inspired by tribal folk traditions, aims to provide audiences with an authentic yet cinematic experience.
Speaking at the launch, Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis said, “Cinema has the power to bring stories of change to the people. Aranya depicts the journey of those who chose education and peace over violence. I am confident the film will leave a lasting impact on audiences. I was particularly touched by the unique concept of planting ‘One Tree for One Ticket.’”
Director Amol Digambar Karambe expressed his pride at the occasion: “Having the poster of Aranya unveiled by Chief Minister Fadnavis is a moment of great honor for our team. This film is our sincere attempt to bring such stories into the mainstream of Marathi cinema.”
