Deepa Parab to Star in Hindi Film ‘Fakireeyat’!

Renowned for her graceful and emotionally rich performances, acclaimed Marathi actress Deepa Parab is set to headline the upcoming Hindi film #Fakireeyat. With this project, she makes a highly anticipated return to Hindi cinema after a substantial hiatus. Directed by celebrated Marathi filmmaker #SantoshManjrekar, Fakireeyat also marks his first independent venture in the Hindi film industry. The film is being produced under the banner of Bhadrabahu Divine Creations LLP and is gearing up for release in the near future.

Deepa, who has previously appeared in Hindi films and shows, is known for bringing authenticity and depth to every character she portrays. In Fakireeyat, she steps into a spiritually profound role that reveals yet another dimension of her acting range. During her time away from Hindi films, she remained active in Marathi cinema, portraying a wide variety of impactful roles.

Fakireeyat explores the mystical and transcendental journey of a spiritual disciple, deeply devoted to the revered figure Mahavatar Babaji and the path of Kriya Yoga. Told from the point of view of a female devotee whose life is wholly shaped by her Guru’s teachings and divine guidance, the narrative delves into her extraordinary experiences — divine encounters, spiritual revelations, inner battles, and resistance from the world around her. The film offers a compelling exploration of faith, surrender, and the metaphysical.

Inspired by the literary works Chirut Jalti Hai and Adhyatm Ek Vidroh, Ek Kranti by author Anuja Janvalekar, the film’s screenplay is penned by Anil Pawar, with dialogues co-written by Pawar and Janvalekar. The visual storytelling is helmed by cinematographer Ajith Reddy, while Nilesh Gavand has taken charge of editing. The music, composed by Pravin Kunwar with lyrics by Samruddhi Pawar, features vocals by Manish Rajgire, Manoj Mishra, Jasraj Joshi, and Neha Rajpal.

Alongside Deepa Parab, the ensemble cast includes Vineet Sharma, Santosh Juvekar, Uday Tikekar, Akshay Vartak, Nayan Jadhav, Sandesh Jadhav, and Anisha Sabnis — making Fakireeyat a promising cinematic experience rooted in spiritual intrigue and emotional intensity.
